Completely Renovated Home 2M from Downtown Mpls, 1M from U of M
A full renovation of this fabulous 1920’s home in the heart of Minneapolis was completed in March 2012.
This 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home features a queen size bed in every bedroom, an additional single size bed in one of the bedrooms and room fo …
Me and 3 other friends stayed at this house for 5 days. The house was very clean (almost looked new) and fit all three of us very comfortable. We each had our own beds plus it fit our golf equipment with no problem. Even though we had a rental car, the house is close enough to downtown to catch a taxi at a very low cost. My only recommendation or wish would be to have a larger ironing board, other than that I can't think of any other improvements. I would definitely stay at this house again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Minneapolis area. Angie answered all my questions in an appropriate time and provided enough information at the house that I didn't have to ask any other questions. Thank you Angie and I look forward to visiting again!!!
We enjoyed our stay in your home. This was our first time to Minneapolis and were here for our son's wedding. More comfortable chairs & larger dinner table would have been nice for this many adults, and more cooking utensils, especially...a cookie sheet...as we did a lot of cooking. More clothes hangers would have been good too. We did make needed purchases at the dollar store to help out. We had two crawling-age babies so needed to be very watchful so they wouldn't fall down the stairs. Owners were great in providing us with highchair and pack/play bed. A favorite memory...we had a fantastic thunder/lightening storm! We don't get those in Oregon.
FYI: Mannings Restaurant was great for breakfast and just steps from the house. Good location, good off-street parking, clean, updated, good beds, great shower heads! Thanks so much for helping us make wonderful family memories.
The house was perfect for our needs! We were a large family in need of a spacious, clean, modern house and the Cole Avenue house was fantastic.
Recently, our travel group of girlfriends gathered to say goodbye to one of our members. We decided to head to Minneapolis, and given we had 8 people in our group, a house would be easier than two hotel rooms. We came across this little gem of a place and were thrilled they still had openings for our dates! The house is charming, slept 8 comfortably, and had space to sit out on the deck and relax between trips around town. The place is next to a train, which interrupted conversations when we were outside, but we couldn't even hear it in the house. Our only recommendation was for a few more mirrors... I would highly recommend this quaint spot for family trips or gatherings of friends!
nice arrangement -
two of the beds are soft but the others are perfect
Linen provided are abundant
Plates cups etc are perfect
Only area to be improved: cook wear - pots and pans are limited..
Overall family had a wonderful time..
Great place, convenient location, and well kept!
I desperately needed to get a place for my group somewhere in Minneapolis. The owners picked up on the first phone call and within the hour I had my place booked, paid, and reserved. The process was quick, convenient, and safe.
The place is exactly how you see it in the photos, very clean and newly finished. The owners were very helpful with providing cookware and even laundry detergent. One less hassle when you’re traveling. One of them was also kind enough to pop in to check in on us and let us know about the big university event (that might cause a little extra noise). They answered all my questions before I arrived and responded to our little extras after we arrived within a few hours.
I did have reservations about this area, not having been to Minneapolis before. But it turned out this area worked out very well for us. Most all of Minneapolis is only 20 minutes away from everything by car. Very convenient if you have a car.
I would highly recommend renting from these people again! I’m sad that my group won’t be able to use this place again later in the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.
