Fabulous 2 Bedroom, Decks and Views
This immaculate and stunning designer property aims to meet your needs for a delightful visit to Mill Valley. It has the feel of a city home, but with views of Mount Tamalpais and the valley. Hear coyotes in the distance and owls in the trees. Th …
We would have loved to stay all week if not forever. Very comfortable home for 4 people. It was my parents, my daughter and myself. The area was great and the weather was perfect.
If you love Mill Valley and all it has to offer, this is the perfect spot for you. Whether flying solo, with a small group, or a family, it is ideal. California living is easy, clean, luxurious, and full of beauty. This home will give you that. We were able to fully function in the kitchen stocked with everything you will need, walk downtown and to the park, hop onto the 101 easily for day trips to the city, and get quiet serenity every evening. Parking was a breeze, neighbors are quiet, and the bedding is top of the line. I plan to purchase the mattress we slept on. I look forward to future stays at 341 Lovell!
What a charming little spot in Mill Valley. Good communication with the owner, clean and comfortable. It was perfect spot for our family of four to relax for the week.
This house was fantastic. it was a quaint little spot in mill valley. the amenities were great (washer dryer, etc.) and Bettina was a great person to work with.
We had such a wonderful time in this magical cottage in Mill Valley. The owner has wonderful taste...beautiful art work and so many little comforts. The home provided everything we could have possible needed, and I was travelling with three kids! The beds are amazingly cozy. The view of the mountain is always beautiful, even in the rain. Thanks for a lovely week!
This property might even be better than home. Every little detail is made available, organic sheet, delicious towels and stunningly beautiful views. This gem sits beautifully in the trees on a quiet street hanging over Mill Valley. Great outside porch - so you can cook a great dinner and go sit under the stars.
What a stunning place! For me it was the perfect location to meet with old friends and have nature inspire me to complete parts of my new book. I just loved sitting on the deck overlooking the mountains. The house is cozy and makes you feel at home from the start. Mill Valley to me is a magical place. I spent hours hiking in the area. Loved it and will be returning soon.
My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at this lovely house, and it was just perfect. The views are absolutely stunning, and the neighborhood is fantastic. Not only can you walk to the cute little town of Mill Valley in about 10 minutes (down a gorgeous winding street), but you can also walk to nature trails and redwood groves in the same amount of time! Heaven. And if you prefer to drive, SF is just 20 minutes by car, as are other beautiful national parks and trails. Of course, Napa Valley is not too far either.
The house itself is great because you've got glass walls facing the valley, so you can enjoy the outdoors from inside, as well as you've got an outdoor spot to lounge in, but at the same there is a lot of privacy, and it's very quiet.
Bettina and Payton were great hosts - Bettina dropped off a little hiking book for us when she found out we liked nature trails, and they both recommended fabulous restaurants, sites, and places to shop, as well as were available when we had any questions.
I would absolutely recommend this property! (Just please don't take the dates that I want, I'm already trying to find dates to go back....:))
What a treasure. I stayed at this location for 6 days with two of my sisters.. Had eveything you could possibly want, except food. Rooms were conformable and clean. Had no problem parking. If I come back to the area would like to rent from this owner again.
In July 2012 we spent ten days in this home. While the home was convenient to Mill Valley venues, we found the house to be wanting and very disappointing, especially after we visited the rental homes of a few friends who paid the same or less and had also used VRBO. While the view of the mountainside from our deck was beautiful and the master bedroom a decent size, there were a number of important points that were either missing or not what we expected from the description. (1) Overall, the rooms in the house are much smaller than in similarly priced homes, and the views from the other homes we saw were significantly better than ours. (2) There is no closet in the master bedroom, and pegs on the back of the door were not an adequate substitute. (3) Both bedrooms are on a lower level, and we were very surprised to find that the one bathroom was on the upper (entry) level, which was quite inconvenient. The bathroom was also very small. (4) While the kitchen was well outfitted , it was very small. We hit our heads on the pots hanging from the ceiling, and the countertops are cracked and in need of replacement. Overall, the kitchen looked rather worn. (5) The dishwasher is not in the kitchen, but rather in an adjoining building (the shed off the deck). This was neither logical or convenient. (6) Some of the furniture (the couch in particular) was in need of a cleaning or replacement. (7) The only parking is on the street, and it was not always easy to find a convenient space, whereas other rental properties had dedicated parking places. (8) You would walk to town only if you have a death wish, and you certainly would not walk there at night. The street is very narrow and winding, with no sidewalk, and cars driving up and down the road were not always driving at a safe speed given the road conditions. Overall, given the rental price we were disappointed, and we would recommend that VRBO renters look at other properties.
We had a perfect stay - clean, beautiful, quiet! We would always came back!!!
The house is very well equipped and in a convenient location. Lovely views and very peaceful. I hope to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in Mill Valley.
