This two-level one-bedroom apartment is all yours! Located in lively and lovely Newtown, on the fringe of Sydney's city centre. The train station is 5 minutes walk away, on the same street, and it takes only 10 minutes to reach the city, Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Airport is 8km (5 miles) away - only $20 by taxi.
A large balcony overlooks lovely gum trees. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room let in the Australian sunshine for lots of natural light. The bedroom is upstairs in a spacious room with high ceilings.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor (2 levels above ground level) and there is no elevator. No problem for most people, but worth considering if you are not very mobile. Smoking is not permitted inside but you can smoke on the balcony.
King Street Newtown is one of the most fun and vibrant areas in Sydney, with dozens of excellent dining options, outdoor pubs, rooftop bars, live music venues, two theatres, a cinema, parks, playgrounds, gyms, supermarkets, antique shops, great bookstores and fashion boutiques. Home to many artists, musicians, students and young professionals, it is famous for its nightlife, food, coffee, shopping and people-watching (many colourful local characters!).
Also within walking distance: Sydney University, University of Technology (UTS), Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Enmore Theatre, gay venues and the massive Sydney Park, which is great for jogging, picnics and kids.
Several buses go to the city (the bus stop is 1 minute walk), as well as Bondi Junction (for access to famous Bondi Beach) and there is a direct bus to Coogee Beach.
I don't live there, but I will welcome you upon arrival to give you the keys, directions, local information etc. Everything you need (towels, bed linen, soap etc) is provided to enjoy your home away from home.
