Wow--this Toluca Lake bungalow has everything you could possibly want. My girlfriend and I stayed there to visit my parents for a week over the holidays, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The small studio apartment has all the accessories you could want in bedding, kitchen, and bathroom, and everything was exceptionally clean. Parking is easy, and the location could not be better--right next to Universal Studios and the L.A. metro stop. We HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone coming to visit the L.A. area!
We loved our stay at the Aqua Vista. The place has a very homey, peaceful quality to it. The location is great. Everything you would want to do in an around LA is very accessible with the highways being so close. Also, being able to park out in front was a plus. Scott and Tatiana have put a lot of thought on how to make their visitors comfortable and welcome, from popcorn to the bathroom essential basket. We would definitely stay there again when we come back to visit our son. I hope you will love it as much as we did. There were only 2 of us but I think it would work for 3 people as well.
I found this place to be very nice. It was in a safe and quiet neighborhood with easy street parking. The unit itself was cozy, charming and attractive. It was well furnished. Scott was attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Location, location, location! The Aqua Vista's location was ideal for our visit. Located off a main street, near exits for the freeways and still located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It was easy to find, and my favorite part was the parking, usually right in front of the house. Although our son did have to pay to park when he visited.
The pictures accurately depict this property, what you see it what you get. It's neat, well cared-for, and efficiently furnished. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen appeared to be well equipped for cooking a full dinner. The drinks and popcorn left by Scott were a very nice welcoming touch.
Our only complaint was the bed. It's super comfortable, but it creeks every time you move!
On our next visit to Studio City, we would definitely stay here again if it's available and would recommend it to our friends.
The Aqua Vista was beautiful! My daughter and I came out to stay for a month. The area is very nice, clean and in great proximity to everything. The owner was very attentive if I had a need for something or couldn't figure out something. Would definitely recommend and if we come out again, I would prefer to stay here because I feel comfortable in the neighborhood and I have figured my way around.
This studio was the perfect place for supporting a summer internship in the film industry - it was located near all the major studios, super markets, theaters, main highways, and a metro stop (which was crucial for my stay without a car). The rental was clean, quiet and safe, which was very important to me as it was my first time living in L.A. It had everything I needed to live comfortably for over two months - oven, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, great bathroom/shower, big HD TV, etc. It truly felt like a home away from home, and not a small, cramped apartment.
I never had any problems whatsoever - Scott was extremely attentive to any questions and concerns, and made my stay very smooth and relaxing. I had plenty of other friends interning in Los Angeles during the summer and every single one who visited couldn't help but be impressed by the rental - they said it was leagues above the quality, space and location of their own apartments and rental homes. I feel very lucky to have chanced upon this place.
My internship would not have been successful let alone possible without this studio - I was so worried that my living situation would detract from the excitement I had for my summer, but I was definitely proven wrong. This place exceeded all expectations, and I found myself not wanting to leave.
I highly recommend this rental, and I hope to make it back someday!
Thanks for everything.
Usually I stay with friends or a hotel. This time, since I was so busy, I felt it important to get a place to call home. This was perfect. It was extraordinarily clean and efficient and located exactly where I needed it to be. I especially loved the little bathroom. I would stay again in a heartbeat. But please know that it is studio size. Not really good for more than one or two people.
I stayed here while visiting my parents in North Hollywood. Everything is just as pictured - lovely decor and very inviting. It made a wonderful home base to return to every night after long days of running around LA with my mom.
The owners included so many thoughtful touches, from the chocolate Santas on the coffee table, to the toiletires, to the the water, tea and snacks in the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay - I will definitely be back!
Had a great time at this rental in March 2013. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Studio City and it was convenient to her place as well as major freeways (101, 405, 170, 134, etc) and centrally located to attractions. (We were able to visit Griffith Park, Travel Town Museum, Autry Museum, Griffith Observatory, Getty Museum, Reagan Library, Densanso Gardens, Nethercutt Museum, Disneyland, Catalina Island, Malibu, bike from Santa Monica to the Venice Canals, hike Fryman, Runyan, and Escondido Falls canyons during our 10 day stay because of the proximity to all these destinations.)
The place is very comfortable and artistically decorated. Loved the tilework. It is on a quiet dead end side street in a very safe neighborhood. The rental process was painless and Scott was very attentive to our needs and we met him during our stay (thanks for the toaster!). We were able to have dinner on the back patio with its white lights and fountain which was very pleasant. Parking is not an issue since 2 parking passes are provided and my daughter was able to use one when she visited.
I would very definitely recommend this rental and will stay again when we are able to return to sunny LA.
This studio apartment is adorable and is in a GREAT location. Situated close to major highways and eateries, this studio was perfect for what I needed!
I am a big bathroom and kitchen "person" (meaning that if the bathroom or the kitchen is dull or dirty, I am going to look at other places). Both the bathroom and the kitchen here are IMPECCABLY clean and the studio has a modern flair with a traditional Spanish touch.
Scott is very thorough and I would DEFINITELY stay here again!
Small charming studio. Pictures are very accurate. You cannot beat the location, close to everything with great access to highways.
The place have everything you may need for a comfortable stay. It was a very nice touch to find that the owners have thought about almost everything a guest can need. I certainly appreciated the coffee!
Property has been renovated and it shows very nice spanish details all over and is impecable clean.
The area is very quiet and felt very safe (that was especially important for me as I was traveling by myself and finishing work at very late hours).
Parking is not a problem at all due to the parking permit.
Thanks Scott, great property, hope to come back the next year!
I could not recommend this place more! First off, the rental is on a very residential and quiet side street VERY conveniently located to get anywhere in Los Angeles. (Yes, even with traffic!) The unit itself has very earthy tones that are extremely welcoming and the layout is great, leaving plenty of room to live, eat, sleep, and have a great time. I stayed for 9 days and it was like being home.
The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating. I don't want to give away any surprises, but there are cute notes everywhere welcoming you into your vacation home. In many ways this is like a private bed and breakfast feel ranked up there with the best of them. (And I am originally from New England, so I know my B&Bs!)
If you are looking for a romantic night away, a location for an extended stay in LA to visit all the attractions, or simply a place to rest your head, this is the place to go. I live in LA and know that you cannot find a nicer place for the price. I had to find a place to stay while my apartment was repaired and I could not have picked a better place!
In summary, very nice owners, easy check-in and out, perfect location, great space, and high quality decor. Stop looking for other places and book it now! You will be glad you did.
My 2 daughters (12 and 10 yrs old) and I stayed 3 nights at this cute home away from home. Scott and Tatiana did an amazing job making us feel welcome, thank you so much!! We loved the proximity to my daughter's acting training in Burbank and popular fun stops including Universal Studios, Paramount Studios (for a live taping of a new Nickelodeon show) and The Grove. We walked to Universal Studios in just 10 min, very cool! The custom sink and tilework in the bathroom is absolutely beautiful!! We highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future.
