We are a friendly, creative, middle-aged gay couple (an author and an interior designer). We're not the clubbing 'out all night' types (those days are over sadly) and appear to be entering our National Trust years. However, we're not fuddy duddies and I like to think we're fun to be around :)
We work during the day (so you can come and go as you please) but would be more than happy to advise you on the places to visit while you're here in London (we've been to most of them!)
Sun to Thurs £85 per night
Fri to Sat £95 per night (no High or Low Season)

Holland Park is in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is perfectly positioned for tube access to the city centre (via High Street Kensington, Shepherd’s Bush, Olympia & Earls Court tube stations)
Shepherds Bush to the Olympic Park is 30 mins on the Central Line
Westfield - Europe’s largest shopping mall, it’s just 10 minutes walk away. It is right next to Shepherd’s Bush tube station so you can be in Covent Garden or Oxford Street in minutes
Olympia station and Exhibition Center are a two minute walk
High Street Kensington, for the tube and local shops (i.e the London flagship Whole Foods store) and restaurants. Kensington Palace and Gardens is minutes away.
The gardens of Holland Park are again, just a few minutes walk
Buses are plentiful 24/7 and the Boris Bike Scheme Rack is right at the end of the street for cyclists

Holland Park (the area) has a reputation as an affluent and fashionable area, known for attractive large Victorian townhouses, and high-class shopping and restaurants. There are many popular shopping destinations located around Holland Park such as High Street Kensington, Notting Hill, Holland Park Avenue, Portobello Market, Westbourne Grove, Clarendon Cross and Ledbury Road
From Heathrow: 15 minutes on the Heathrow Express ( £16.50 direct to Paddington Station). Then taxi (£12) from Paddington or tube (Circle Line) to High Street Kensington (3 stops). Or, 25 minute tube ride to Earls Court (Piccadilly Line)

More than 8 busses day and night passing through where the property is situated such as (29,41,67,141,144,230) benefits from having both good tube and bus transport links. This is a lovely room in BRICK LANE !!! Amazing location with everything that you may need on your door step, such as supermarket, post office, corner shops, restaurants, pubs,etc.
Fresh towels, bed linen and basic toiletries are provided, fast unlimited wifi connection. In the case you do book the room, I will meet you at the Station so do not worry about getting lost ;)
Smoking is allowed outside please.
The Room: Double bed plus a folding single bed for the eventual 3rd guest, fresh bed linen and towels will be provide, extra space for your luggage. The room is in a tidy clean flat and you will share the common areas with friendly, easy going people so we would be happy to guest similar people.
An extra single mattress will be provide for the third guest.
I put some pictures of London fields that is the nearest park full of young people chilling: it is always in this way from June! It's amazing! Broadway market is just 5 min walking from home and every Saturday they organise a street market where you can find young local fashion designer creations second hand clothes organic food and fresh fish! Street artists are all around with their music and it is full of very characteristic cafes and typical Londoners pubs.
If you come to London for work or tourism our flat is P E R F E C T! We are next to the city and we benefit of excellent transport links for PICCADILLY CIRCUS, OXFORD STREET TRAFALGAR SQUARE and Liverpool Street station with just one bus in front of the flat ( 20 minutes by bus to Oxford street).
Every Sunday there is another famous market just 5 min walking from home! Up Market's famous food area, with cottage-industry style passionate caterers creating home-to-market food has already found a huge fan base. Ethiopian hand roasted coffee, Turkish specialities, lovely Moroccan dishes,Spanish Paellas and Empanadas, hand-rolled Sushi
(done in front of you), Japanese sweets and savoury pancakes, Carrom Cafe's Lassi, Chai and Indian Street Snacks, Thai food and Caribbean sea bass and fried
plantain sandwiches' It's a long list.

A few minutes walk to the Regents Canal where you can take a stroll
You can hire a Barclays Bicycle at one of the several Barclays Cycle Hire docks within a few hundred yards of the apartment.
