A big double bedroom in the heart of Camden. Very nice big room next to a big bathroom with a walk in shower. You will share the flat with myself and my daughter.
The room consists of a comfortable double bed, a chest of drawers and shelves. The bathroom with a walk- in shower is directly next to the bedroom. The bedrooms (yours and my daughter's) are downstairs, the living room with the kitchen are upstairs. You have your own entrance door leading to your room and the bathroom. My daughter and myself enter the flat from the upstairs door.
You will have access to the living room and the kitchen, There is also free wifi access. You can prepare tea and coffee in your room; cooking dinner would not be possible unless you just prepare sandwiches or use the microwave You have your own entrance door leading to your room and the bathroom, so it feels like your own flat.
I can give you a lot of tips what to do in Camden/London. My daughter who is 20 years old can also be of assistance. We give you maps of London.
The flat is very central, a 5 min walk from Camden Town tube and 2 min walk from Camden Road train station. There are many bars, restaurants and nightclubs in the proximity. It's a great place for sightseeing during the day and going out in the night. You can have a good night live in Camden. However, our flat is very quiet, so you can have both sides of the coin.
Camden Town tube station is 5 min walk away from my house, everything is very central. Camden Road overground station is a 2 min walk away from the house. The bus stop where you can catch many buses is just 2 min away as well. A bus journey to Central London, eg Oxford Circus takes 15 minutes.
We don't want any parties in the house, but you wouldn't want to do that anyway, as Camden has a great night life. We expect you to be quiet after 11pm to respect our neighbours. No smoking allowed, sorry.
The flat, which is very comfortable, has everything you need, including wireless Internet, a shared bathroom, kitchen, separate bathroom, microwave, fridge and parking. You also have your own key, so you can lock your room.
The flat is about 400 meters from New Cross Station, which gives you access to the Overground and the mainline railway (Note: the Overground is connected to the tube/underground - it just runs over ground - all tickets are valid). Deptford Bridge Station is even closer. From here the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) will take you to Greenwhich and Canary Wharf.
There are also numerous buses, which pass New Cross Road and go straight to central London, including several night buses, so you can always get home no matter what time of night! You can be in Trafalgar Square (by train) in just 15 minutes. The vibrant and eclectic area of Shoreditch is also just 15 minutes on the Overground. The location is ideal for any tourist or person working in central London!
So far all the guests in the flat have been very nice, interesting, responsible and very respectful of one another. I believe that they have all enjoyed their stay. The apartment is maintain daily to a high standard.
In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are 24 hour food shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, some really nice traditional English pubs and the famous Deptford Market all within walking distance of the flat. The flat is very close to Goldsmith University campus, so could be an ideal base if you are visiting the university for a conference.
Viking Room. Close to London this nice and cosy bedroom overlooks the River.
As the name suggests this room overlooks the River as travelled by the Vikings.
Located in Chiswick, this comfortable room is also handily close to the train station...
