This is a bright bedroom that really catches the sun in the morning. It has a lot of space a loads of storage. It's less than a minute from Stoke Newington train station and the same from Church Street, famous for it's cool cafes, shops & bars

The Location
The apartment is near the junction of Stoke Newington Church & High St. So you are spoilt for choice when it comes to cool shops, bars and restaurants. Church St has a village feel whereas High St is more urban.
It's just 30 seconds from Stoke Newington train station which is on the Enfield-Liverpool St line. You can easily be in the heart of the city within 15 minutes and the same from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. The trendy night-life & fashion area of Dalston is just a 10 minute bus ride away.

The Place
This bright and spacious duplex 3 bed apartment, has a lovely feel to it. The upper level has wooden floors throughout. It's built into the roof of the building, so has Velux windows in everyroom allowing light to flood in. A wonderful feature of the bathroom is that the velux window sits directly over the shower. This provides a virtual sun-shower in the morning. The two bedrooms on this level are generously sized doubles with plenty of storage space.

The lower floor is home to a fully equipped kitchen, a nicely sized lounge with two reclining couches. Adjoining the lounge is a bright conservatory which trebles as a study, dining room & guest bedroom.

On the opposite side of the lounge is 'your' bedroom. This is also a double and it is virtually the same size as the lounge. You'll get to enjoy this space by folding open the double doors when you're not sleeping. If there are four of you, you could also make use of the temporary bed in the study area as well as the double in your bedroom.

Play & Work station
The apartment is served by a high speed (60 Mb/s) internet connection & cable TV. There's a wireless printer/scanner with paper provided. There are hundreds of books all around the place. In one of the bedrooms there's a varied collection of CDs and a digital radio

Leisure options
Over the road is the Abney Road Cemetery, a picturesque graveyard which is popular place for a stroll or jog. On the next block is Sunstone, a female only gymnasium. There's a state of the art municipal gym 10 minutes walk down Church St opposite the lovely Clissold Park. The park itself provides a plethora of activities, from an open air paddling pool to a small wildlife centre, from skate/BMX park to an adventure playground. It also makes the perfect location for an early morning jog.

Everything apart from the bedroom is shared. So the bathroom and kitchen are shared with two other rooms.

I'm in and out all the time. Will stop for a chat if our paths cross, and more than happy to give tips on nightlife, attractions and transport.

Church Street is the biggest draw of the area. It is the hub of the nightlife scene. But far enough away so as not to disturb a quiet night in.
I love that it has a village feel to the area even though it is zone 2 and really close to the centre of the city.
There's a 24 hour convenience store opposite, which certainly lives up to it's name.

Buses run all night, dropping you off round the corner from the front door. The train station is also around the corner and run until midnight, taking you to Liverpool St station in about 15 minutes.
Parking is free on the road, but you sometimes have to drive a way up the road to find a spot.
