    The Nocturnal Room is a double bedroom with a warm disposition and comfortable furnishings. You will sleep in a brand new double bed and mattress which is covered with 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and feather down duvet.
    This beautiful, light and airy 7 bedroom house in the leafy village of Wanstead is within walking distance to local parks & playgrounds and has excellent transport links. Stratford is a short distance away where you can enjoy the best of both worlds being in a leafy village yet still close to London's attractions.
    The house boasts a new, fully equipped modern kitchen with top of the range appliances where you can make yourself at home.
    Two new bathroom suites include a bath and large interchangeable shower heads with plenty of new luxury towels for guests. An extra-large mega flow boiler has been installed to ensure plenty of nonstop hot running water with great water pressure.
    You will benefit from super-fast broadband and Wi-Fi connections in every room and modern sensor lighting throughout the house.
    There is a peaceful, spacious garden at the rear where you can relax and unwind, enjoy the sunshine and listen to the birds.
    Access to the property consists of one step up to front door and one step down to garden.
    We operate a flexible check-in so you can check in at a time that suits you. You will be looked after like 5 star guests by our host Michelle who is always available to help you with all your travel needs. There is free parking on the street outside the house.
    Wanstead Village and Local Area
    Wanstead Village is voted as a top ten London Village and hosts a fantastic Sunday market on the first of every month which is a delight for foodies. Wanstead also offers a great range of bars, restaurants & shops all a short walk from the property.
    Stratford is a short tube or bus ride away and offers a host of five star restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, casino and designer shops.

      10 mins to Centre - Victorian Home with Garden views
      Hi,
      This stunning Victorian room has just come free after a long term resident left this week.
      So, if you are looking for a safe and friendly place to stay while in London, then this 1st floor double bedroom overlooking a large established garden and woodland area (very private and quiet), may suit you. Room has lovely original Victorian slate fireplace and sash windows.

      The house is located very close to two tube stations (Only 10 minutes by tube into Central London).

      Many hotels are located nearby - as very close to both Finsbury Park and Manor House tube stations (both Zone 2 ) which access two tube lines - Piccadilly Line and Victoria Line)
      Manor House tube station (Piccadilly Line) is only a 3 minute walk away, and Finsbury Park station (Piccadilly and Victoria Lines) is only a 7 minute walk away. It is only 2 stops to Kings Cross on Victoria Line.

      Buses, straight into central London, also leave from a bus stop at the end of our street - only 30 seconds walk away. You can be in Camden Town (for the famous Camden Market - London's biggest tourist attraction) in 15 mins by bus.

      We are an English/NZ family who love meeting people from around the world and our house, which was formerly a "gentleman's boarding house" in Victorian Times, still retains the original layout and Victorian architecture as much as possible.
      The house also retains its original purpose as a guest house, with a mixture of friends and family staying - we currently have a few long term guests from Canada, France and New Zealand.
      You might have the chance to meet some of our other guests, although often they are out working or enjoying London or away on holiday/business. So it is often surprising quiet, as being a double fronted three storey use it can be very easy to lose people.

      What is provided:
      - All linen and towels provided.
      - Use of two kitchens and three bathrooms

      - Use of lovely mature garden with garden furniture
      - Two high speed WiFi Internet connections
      - Complete office facilities (if required) for printing etc...

      Our local pub with trendy Garden Bar is very popular with locals and visitors.
      The local climbing Centre also has a trendy cafe and is a magnet for climbers from all over greater London.
      A waterside cafe at our nearby water reservoir, is in a former pumping station that has been renovated into the shape of a ship, designed by the same architects who designed the London Eye pods - they retained many of the original art deco features.

      The flat is about 400 meters from New Cross Station, which gives you access to the Overground and the mainline railway (Note: the Overground is connected to the tube/underground - it just runs over ground - all tickets are valid). Deptford Bridge Station is even closer. From here the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) will take you to Greenwhich and Canary Wharf.

      There are also numerous buses, which pass New Cross Road and go straight to central London, including several night buses, so you can always get home no matter what time of night! You can be in Trafalgar Square (by train) in just 15 minutes. The vibrant and eclectic area of Shoreditch is also just 15 minutes on the Overground. The location is ideal for any tourist or person working in central London!

      So far all the guests in the flat have been very nice, interesting, responsible and very respectful of one another. I believe that they have all enjoyed their stay. The apartment is maintain daily to a high standard.

      In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are 24 hour food shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, some really nice traditional English pubs and the famous Deptford Market all within walking distance of the flat. The flat is very close to Goldsmith University campus, so could be an ideal base if you are visiting the university for a conference.

      THE LOCAL AREA

      THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE LONDON AT ITS BEST!!!

      OXFORD STREET, the premier shopping street in Europe is under a mile(1km) walk from the apartment. It is one and a half miles(2km) from end to end and is a shoppers paradise. Most shops open 10am until 6 or 7pm. Many also open on Sunday from 12 to 6pm with late nights on Thursday. Oxford Street is best known for Selfridges and the other big department stores which are all found in the section from Marble Arch to Oxford Circus, along with most of the big-name multinationals such as Nike, Primark, Topshop, Apple, etc. It's more of the same towards Tottenham Court Road, but generally on a smaller scale. Oxford Street is said to be the busiest shopping street in Europe.

      The section of Edgware Road near to Marble Arch is famous for its distinctive Middle-Eastern character. Lebanese restaurants, shisha cafes and clubs line both sides of the road, with some staying open late into the night. Marble Arch station is a few minutes walk from the southern end of Edgware Road.

      Just a short step away from the tourist hordes, the apartment still has the feel of a real neighbourhood, the wealthy residents are becoming ever more attractive as Harley Street, the traditional home of England's best doctors, has recently become the heart of the UK's flourishing plastic surgery industry.

      The beautiful architecture (the Wallace Collection is a must) and the open spaces of Regent's Park and Hyde Park make this a fine area to have a wander, when the sun's out there are fewer places in London as scenic and special as Hyde Park.

      While Marylebone High Street is absolutely charming, lined with traditional pubs, beautiful boutiques and shops (including the flagship Daunt Books) and excellent local restaurants as well as an impressive mix of hotels - and a farmer's market every Saturday.

      A short walk from Marylebone is the home of the most famous fictional detective in the world 'Sherlock Holmes' bachelor flat at 221B Baker Street and the popular waxworks at Madame Tussauds.
