It is also walking distance to the subway and train stations that can take you to the beaches around Lisbon,to Sintra and to all the sightseeing in and outside the city.

The apartment is 128m2 and has been renovated to include the following:
one bedroom with a double bed (160cm);
one bedroom with a double bed;
one living room with 2 sofas (one is a double sofa-bed), and dining area; it has satelite plasma TV, DVD and Cd player;
a complete kitchen with washing machine, microwave, gas oven and stove, fridge with freezer, and everything you can need to have a comfortable stay;
2 bathroom, one with shower and another one with bathtub.

After the big earthquake of 1755, when the centre of Lisbon was destroyed, a new centre was constructed, made of grid pattern “geometrical streets. This area, situated between Praça do Comércio, Rossio and Praça da Figueira is called Baixa. There are several other apartments at Baixa.
It is in Baixa, now the heart of Lisbon’s historical centre, where apartment number 119 is located.
In one Northern end of Baixa is Avenida da Liberdade, place of elegant fashion shops, hairdressers and also to a big health club. There you can catch one of the centenary funiculars Elevador do Lavra, to Pena and Elevador da Glória to Bairro Alto.
In the other direction (South), by the river Tejo (Tagus) you can find Praça do Comércio, the centre of the old Portuguese empire.
You are also within a few minutes walk to Chiado, the castle (S. Jorge), Bairro Alto and Alfama with all their historical sights, museums, monuments, bars and restaurants.
The area is served by 2 subway lines, numerous bus lines and tram lines that will help you explore the city and nearby tourist sights such as Sintra and Cascais or the beaches around Caparica and the Estoril coast.

This modern apartment is located in a private condo with private parking in the heart of Cascais. The apartment comprises a spacious livingroom with a TV and stereo and a double sofabed and a separate dinning room. The Living opens to a nice terrace/balcony with outdoor tables and seats and ample views. The 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds each and one in suite has a bathroom with shower. There is a second common bathroom with shower also. The kitchen is quite spacious and is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, microwaves, fridge/freezer and gas oven and stove. You will also find a balconnete in the kitchen opening to the building pateo/garden.

This cosy studio, has just been completely renewed and redecorated. With plenty of light, It has a lounge / bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom. Located in the heart of Cascais center Ville, in a stoned paved (low traffic) quiet street, few meters from a nice gardened square. Near the "Rainha" beach and pleasants pedestrian routes. 20 meters from the traditional "Santinni"ice-cream shop, a small market, several restaurants, bars, shops as well as many tourist attractions.
The Cascais train station is also at a few steps away.

Apartment 51 is located on the 4th floor (no elevator!) of a renovated 18 C building in Cais do Sodré.
Nearby you have various forms of traditional Portuguese commerce, and from there you can easily reach most of the popular sightseeing spots in Lisbon.
Apartment 51 is turned to Lisbon’s river Tejo and to Cais do Sodré square, having and amazing view and an excellent sun light exposition, which, together with the colourful paintings makes it a very special, high-mood apartment.

They are located at Cais do Sodré, almost in front of the subway station with the same name. There are several other apartments at Cais do Sodré.
From this place you have easy access to all of the sightseeing places of Lisbon, like Belém (by Bus or Tram), Baixa, Bairro Alto and Chiado.
Very close to the apartment you can catch the train to the beaches around Cascais (Estação de Comboios de Cais do Sodré) and also the boat to cross the river (Take the boat (Cacilheiro) at Estação Fluvial de Cais do Sodré and in 20 minutes you will be eating fresh fish or seafood) or just sightseeing there.
The apartment is very close to Praça do Comércio, also by the river Tejo, centre of the Portuguese old empire.
From there and only at 5min walking you will be at Baixa, the heart of Lisbon’s historic centre.
You can also go up to Praça Camões (10 minutes), one of the most important squares dedicated to the Portuguese prince of the poetry, with the statue in the centre. In there you are very close to Bairro Alto (where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants open until 2a.m.) and Chiado (with its antique coffees, museums, operas, theatres and churches).
You are next door to Mercado da Ribeira, one of the oldest markets in Lisbon (the actual building was inaugurated in 1882 but since the 15C this area has been used to sell daily products). This is the place where former Fado singer, the famous Amália Rodrigues was found singing and selling flowers. It still has the fresh products market and a renewed art-nouveu building, place to drink the famous hot chocolate and see some expositions. This market also has a fish restaurant and a bar with live Portuguese music.
Cais do Sodré is also very close to the funicular Bica (please see 14 for Bicas’ description).
The nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport, which is 12 kilometres away.
