Q: How much is it?

Please look at the calendar rates. We try to keep the rates updated and matching according to Roomorama's calendar.

Q: How far is it from the beach?

The apartment is easy walking distance to the beach. Be sure to check the map on Roomorama so you know exactly where the rental unit is located.

Q: What's the best way to get there from the airport?

Simply let us know you're interested and we'll arrange to have ground transportation waiting for you upon your arrival. Our drivers know where you're going, and will take you directly to your rental unit for check-in.

Q: Are check-in and check-out times flexible?

We encourage our guests to check-in after 2:00 p.m. and to check-out before 11:00 a.m. to be fair with other guests and our cleaning crews; however, we understand that schedules change. Please let us know as soon as possible about any changes.

Q: We will be using buddy passes for our flight to Rio. Can you accommodate changes that may take place?

No. Last minute schedule changes that result from buddy passes are out of our control. We have every intention of keeping original commitments made with our property owners, and will not modify original transactions/cancellation policies to accommodate such changes.

Q: Can you recommend some things to do, places to eat, tourist activities, etc?

Yes, absolutely. In addition, we provide our guests with a complete PDF guide to Rio, which is full of useful information about the best restaurants, shopping outlets, and tourism activities, as well as helpful tips for you and your group to make the most out of your stay.

Q: Where can I get a local SIM card? How can I get in touch with you?

We can buy local SIM cards for you so that you can communicate easily among your group. We'll share our social accounts to make communication fast and efficient among our team in case you need anything. Also, we use smartphone apps.

**Microchip and nanochip users (Newer generation iPhones and smartphones): It is a challenge to acquire microchips and nanochips in Rio because they are sold in select stores only. We highly recommend you bring a different phone that can support regular SIM cards.

Q: Does the apartment have US/EU electrical outlets?

Yes. You do not need to buy any power converters. We will provide adapters in case you need extras.

Q: Where's the best place to go grocery shopping?

Depending on your location and your market preference, we can help you locate the best one. That being said, we find that Pão de Açucar markets are more expensive but have higher quality brands, and there is less wait time at check-out. If you prefer to spend a bit less (at the expense of having options of slightly lesser quality) and deal with a larger crowd, we recommend the Mundial outlets.

Q: What's the best way to get around?

Taxi - this is hands down the quickest and easiest way to get around. If you would like to ride a roller coaster, you may take the bus. You may rent a car, but we do not recommend it because of the fact that it’s difficult to find parking, especially if parking is not allowed in your building, and because Brazilian road rules are different than those you’re probably accustomed to.

Q: Where can I exchange money for a good rate? Can you help me find a place to take out money?

Yes, absolutely. For taking out money, we can help locate the best bank for you.

Q: Is it safe to walk around at night? What should I do in case of an emergency?

Yes. Rio's south zone neighborhoods are very safe to walk around, as they are very well protected by the Brazilian tourist police. However, in the case of an emergency, you are urged to dial 190 on your localized cell phone.
