<span>The Ocean House is a 1920’s, Art Deco style, 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom cottage. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, terrazzo floors, flat screen television and trendy beach style furnishings. The beach house has recently been remodeled and the photos have been updated. There are huge closets and updated bathrooms. There is a dining table for four inside and a great courtyard with an outdoor dining set shaded by palm trees and plant wildlife as well. The center courtyard is great for people to sunbath or just enjoy the ocean breeze. There is also a barbeque for outdoor cooking. The house has free wireless internet, cable TV, laundry facilities and parking.</span><br /><br />
<p><span>The Ocean House is located just a short half block from the beach. There is a nearby beautiful tropical beachfront park full of Florida’s indigenous plants, palm trees and sea grapes. Another great treat for kids is the free water park in the neighborhood. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island is a barrier island, 7 miles long in between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast, sugar sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling and is accessed by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat only. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday.
