Right there where once the Berlin Wall once stood in the last two years, modern residential buildings, with exclusive equipment. Right in the center of Berlin is located between Gendarmenmarkt and Alexanderplatz, this gendarmerie Fantasy room within a 130m2 apartment with 3 other rooms. The accommodation is designed with castle and knight motifs based on the Gendarmenmarkt (gendarme = Chevalier = Knight = Knight). The Gendarmenmarkt is a square in the historic center of Berlin and is considered "the most beautiful square in Berlin". In the center is designed by Schinkel concert hall, flanked on the south side of the Germans, and on the north side of the French Cathedral. It received its present name in 1799 in memory of the stables of the cuirassiers of the "Gens d'armes" that the "soldier king" Friedrich Wilhelm I in 1736 was built here.
The room size is 20m2, the large living area of approximately 60 m2 including a fully equipped kitchen and a large terrace can be used. In the living area there is a large flat screen 3D TV, Blueray DVD player, a PS3 and a collection of videos. The kitchen is American style with cooking island, has a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob and convection oven with grill. Subject to availability, an underground parking space can be used. Since it is located right in the center you can reach all important sights on foot. In 5 minutes you are at Checkpoint Charlie, the Mark Brandenburg Museum and Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin's best concert hall. Approx. 15 minutes walk and you are on the Museum Island with Pergamon Museum, among others, National Gallery, Bode Museum, Berlin Cathedral, German State Opera, the opera and the Prince's Palace. 15 minutes, you also need to Alexanderplatz, Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate. The apartment is located in Berlin’s trendy quarter, Prenzlauer Berg, where you can find many popular bars and cafes. You can visit superbly artistic boutiques and unique shops, or stroll around the Mauerpark’s famous flea market. Or just absorb and enjoy the unique Berlin flair.
The area around Kollwitzplatz is a focal point of Berlin’s famous nightlife. Nighthawks will surely enjoy the Kulturbrauerei and the trendy nightclubs "Kesselhaus", "Soda" and many more.
The U-Bahn (Metro) lines U2 and U8 and several tram lines provide an excellent connection to district Mitte. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the major sights, including Alexanderplatz, the Museum Island and Hackescher Markt.
The circle-lines S41 (clockwise) and S42 (counter-clockwise) connect the district with the neighboring districts of Wedding and Friedrichshain. Friedrichshain is also accessible via the S-Bahn lines S2, S8 and S9, as well as by several tram lines.
