The condo was perfect for our brief stay, it was clean and well maintained and Rebecca was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. She even brought in 2 mattresses for the kids. The condo is close to BART, but also close to San Francisco if you want to drive. A big plus is the reserved parking. Kitchen was well equipped with necessities, and groceries are nearby so you can cook if you want. All in all am excellent choice! Thank you, we hope to visit again!
We were there for my sister's graduation and were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. We would definitely stay there again.
The apartment served it's purpose but offered the absolute bare minimum as far as items go. It was similar to a college dorm room on a budget. The ad said it sleeps 4, and it does with two queen beds. But if anyone other than two couples go, one person is on the couch which doesn't accommodate sleeping very well. It would make a world of difference if the couch was also a hide-a-bed. They could also advertise sleeping accommodation for 5.
There were 3 pans for cooking, very used and rusty; Only 4 towels with some hand towels and a couple of wash cloths; A coffee maker, salt and pepper. Nothing else...at all. There were also no dressers other than what was provided in the closets, and no additional shelf space in the restrooms. Again, it would make a world of difference is they spent $150 at IKEA on shelving units for the bathrooms and one each for the bedrooms.
Compared to other VRBO locations, this provided the absolute bare minimum. No plates or cups so you'll have to bring you own when staying here (something that guests typically do not have to provide.)
Check-in happened to be the worst of it. We came in late (about 1 am from traveling for 6 hours) and the units are gated. The owner, therefore, has to meet you and provide entrance. We were asked to call 10 minutes before arrival, which we did. We then called upon arrival, 10 minutes after arrival, 30 minutes after arrival, texted 3 times, and emailed twice. After an hour, we searched the area for a hotel room to stay in since the children needed some sort of bed to sleep in rather than the car. At 2:10 we called one last time and the owner answered. She came down to let us in, but the process was nerve-racking to say the least.
We won't be staying at this location again.
We lived in this apartment for 4 months (me, my wife and our two small children). I have to say we all felt like at home.
Everything is new or recently remodeled.
Very nice kitchen with the high end appliances.
A huge LG fridge, top of the line LG washer and dryer.
Two big televisions.
Wi-fi internet (about 3Mb).
Everything is nice and clean.
Very nice master bedroom with a king bed (leather headboard).
Very nice 2nd bedroom.
Very nice bathroom with a big stand up shower.
Free parking just next to the house.
BART station is 10 minutes by foot.
The owners are fantastic people.
We could not wish more.
Than you very much one more time and truly hope we stay in touch.
If you're looking for convenience to downtown SF, yet a quick train ride to the airport--this is a terrific choice. For about the price of a typical downtown SF hotel room, you will find yourself (behind a deceptively plain street-view!) in a relaxing 2-BR apartment done with class and simplicity. All appliances are state-of-the-art; great shower, great beds! Relax in front of not one but two TVs. And your hosts are folks who will go the second mile for you. If the 1/2-mile urban walk to BART is more than you want to do, taxis are just a phone call away. Less than a minute's walk to pick up grocery basics, wine, etc.
Me and my husband stay at this home it was great!! I stayed there for a month. I felt at home, the shopping ctrs , entertainment and walking trails were all so convinent. The people in the area are very kind. I could say that I didn't want to leave this place cause i felt right at home. Definatley will be returning:))
My girlfriends and I rented this gorgeous place for my 30th bday getaway. To say the least, it is decorated beautifully, very clean with a modern open concept, and quite cozy & comfortable. The layout was perfect for entertaining. We cooked, drank wine and chatted away. Almost everything is just a hop and a skip away, like grocery shopping, the mall, the beach, the embarcadero, downtown SF night life, and the SFO airport. These are just some of the things we did during our weekend stay. Rebecca & Tony went out of their way to accommodate us and they truly are nice people. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to everyone!
