The village, "Roccalvecce", is small, ancient and classic with the Marchese still in charge and has amazing local folk and a good grocery store, post office and a Cafe.
The locals make an incredible dinner with wine and pizza and dancing in the piazza every Sat and Sun night (June thru Sept).
From Rome airport 1hr30 minute drive,15 minutes to volcanic lake Bolsena, 45 to the sea!
In a car you have endless sites right around the village (like Orvieto, Todi, Perugia) and yet if you want to drive 10 min. down to the train line Rome-Florence and park the car and train it to all the Italian destinations you want. Maybe for the day (Rome is one hour south) or stay 1 or two nites in bigger cities like Florence or Venice then come back to your cozy house and village again.

La sua prossimità al lago di Bolsena e, relativamente, alla costa tirrenica, rende questi luoghi, in controtendenza rispetto al resto della Regione, attraenti anche per un turismo più indirizzato agli svaghi estivi;
