We are situated in the City Bowl and very close to the ever popular Kloofstreet. I am a 15min walk from the city center and it is again a 15min walk from the city center to the stadium. The house is a 10 min walk from Long Street that is where all the street entertainment will take place for the world cup. The best for me will be to have all three rooms rented out to a group of people. It works out at R2000 a room.
Personal laundry is extra but we have a washing machine so you can do it yourself.

Beach View, set amongst Llandudno's giant boulders, is possibly as close as one can get to beach living. This villa is light and open-plan: the continuous living, dining and bar area leads out onto a beautiful patio overlooking the beach, offering stunning ocean and mountain views. The two downstairs bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the seaside theme. There is a qauint attic bedroom, suitable for a child as well as a mezzanine area adding to the open and airy feeling this home provides. Outside, a sparkling swimming pool overlooks crashing waves and the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.
Resting on a hill overlooking the elite and exquisite Camps Bay coastline, lies the stylish yet cosy Sunset Hills apartment. Tucked away in an enclave in a secure apartment block, this modern 2 bedroomed apartment is perfect for guests wanting a comfortable environment with sweeping views of Cape Town’s pristine Atlantic Coastline.
A flight of stairs leads up to this humble apartment which is not short of spectacular views enjoyed from the open-plan living area and the main bedroom. The lounge, dining and kitchen area are open plan which allows plenty of natural light to filter through the sliding doors which frame the lounge. This creates a perfect seaside atmosphere.
The rustic, slate tile tops in the ergonomic kitchen add an artistic flair which contrasts the traditional wooden floor carried throughout the kitchen, passage and lounge area. The dining area is neatly tucked away in a corner overlooking the Juliet balcony and can seat 6 guests. Gentle cream couches in the lounge create a sense of warmth and surround a large wooden Kist which doubles as a lounge table. Patches of cornflower blue colours appear throughout the décor and reflect the calming colours of Cape Town’s natural seascapes.
Emulating the colours of the ocean visible from the window, the tranquil blue and white décor used in the main room create a sense of harmony. The second room is equally as tastefully decorated with blues, whites and hints of green. Stark artwork of indigenous flora hangs above the bed, adding a traditional South African touch to the room. The second room does not have a sea view but makes up for it with flashes of quirky colour used throughout. Both rooms boast extra length beds and ceiling fans to ensure your holiday is comfortable. There is a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and a deep, sunken bath - perfect for de-stressing.
There is a sense of ease and unpretentiousness about Sunset Hills and it’s the ideal holiday hideaway for young couples or families. Perched on top of a hill means incredible views but where you do compromise is on the proximity to restaurants, beaches, shops and nightlife; which are not within walking distance. However, everything is within a 5 minute drive from the apartment. There is no pool in the apartment block or barbecue facilities. There is safe and secure parking for one vehicle.
