    Reviews

This property is incorrectly listed as a 3-bedroom unit. It is in fact a 2-bedroom unit with a loft connected to the second bedroom. This was inconvenient for our family unit which consisted of two couples plus another person. In all other respects the apartment was fine—clean, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, excellent location. When we contacted the owner he agreed that the listing was misleading but has not yet modified it, so I am putting this information out so that others do not suffer the inconvenience that we did.
We stayed here for three nights, and thought it was great. It looks just as it does in the pictures, and is even more spacious than I thought. There were six of us total, four adults, and two children, 2 and 3.5. The kitchen is great, plenty of room for all of us to sit and eat. The condo had everything we needed. The location is great, you do not need a car at all, once you get there. We had no problem walking to the T. The sleeping loft is up some very steep steps - and you need to go through one bedroom to get there, so there is limited privacy with those two rooms, but it was not a problem for us. We will definitely consider staying here again!
We spent 5 days at this apartment. We found the apartment very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated throughout. The beds are also extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed. It is also in a very good position and we found it very easy to travel to Boston via the subway system. The nearest being only a 5-10 minute walk away. The owner was extremely helpful and the photos of the apartment are exactly what you get. There is a very good selection of shops, one being the Wholefoods Market, which had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this to friends and relatives and if we are lucky enough to go again in the future we would have this apartment again.
We were over from the UK with 2 kids and my parents-in-law for a 10 day break in Maine / Mass, and spent the last three days of our holiday in the upper floor Inman Street apartment. The condo is very accurately described, with (most of) the amenities you need for a great short break in Cambridge / Boston. The area is excellent and the condo is very near Cambridge Steet / Inman Square which provide good restaurants and coffee bars. We ate at the East Coast Grill on Halloween night (Pirate theme!) which was excellent (an overly-expensive wine list I thought - we opted for the terrific Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir at $40) and watch out for their extra-hot buffalo wings! Lunched at The Druid pub (great burgers / Irish sausages and good beer) The coffee at 1369 is good and the ambiance very boho / studenty. We also went for pizza at near-by Emma's (40 Hampshire St) - busy, friendly, great pizza (drink it with Smuttynose IPA) The area is attractive - lovely historic properties on Inman - and it was great to see the houses decked out for an American Halloween. Easy walk in the other direction to the Central T at Mass Ave and then it's an easy ride to all Boston locations (get hold of a Charlie Card - they're free- and load up for trips at $1.70 a ride) The condo itself is very nice / clean / interesting. All rooms are a good size for a short break and the kitchen is good for eating in. We used the bedroom that connects to the sleeping loft via (steep) stairs while our girls (4 and 8) slept in the loft - no worries but kids need to be careful and I bumped my head on the overhang! Beds/bathroom absolutely fine, decent wifi, what more could you ask? Well, a kettle for one thing - perhaps being Brits we just fretted about making tea and had to boil pots of water constantly - and a dishwasher would be nice (the room beyond the kitchen would make a great utility) And it's time Americans embraced the duvet - please, no more blankets and quilts! But all in all we can highly recommend the flat and the area.
spent 3 days there for graduation with family. Condo was fabulous. It is a 10-min walk from Central Square T stop but very easy through a pleasant neighborhood. The condo was exactly as pictured - neat, clean, nicely decorated, reasonably stocked kitchen (great coffee maker!), very nice bathroom. All linens and sheets there when we arrived, clean and in very good condition. Note that the 3rd bedroom is up a small staircase and open to the second bedroom so there is not total privacy between those two bedrooms. We walked 5 minutes to a market for food, great bakery around the corner. Really can't say enough good about this - would definitely stay again. Owner was very pleasant and easy to work with and able to accomdate all of my requests. The only issue to be aware of is that the stairs to the 2nd floor condo are steep so probably not good for someone with difficulty climbing. Having said that, this is one of the nicest condo's that I have rented through VRBO and definitely recommend.
My husband, daughter & I stayed here for a week during Spring Break. The owner was very helpful and the location is very convenient. Clean & pretty place! lot of good places to eat nearby & grocery stores if you prefer to cook in.
