So there's plenty of room for people Not to be on top of each other
A Classic Highset Queenslander Centrally located all timber house (which is Cooler in the heat) has a warm Cosy Homely feel with polished wooden floors and highset Tongue and Grove ceilings typical of the Circa 1930-/50’s period that we have tried hard to keep as original feel as possible
You can use the Large Capacity Heavy duty washing Machine (if you have been Traveling for a while?) and virtually everything else a standard house has, EG Iron if needed, Etc, - just ask - should be there somewhere ! ?
Interaction with Guests
Its a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom highset (2 New) upstairs with most of the living area Downstairs
I have my own bed & bathroom area Upstairs as well
I am happy to answer any questions as I'm nearly a Local (with 17 out 20 years living in the area) as well as a member of CRTA = the Cairns Regional Tourist Association - I know a lot of the Opperators and Owners personally - so if I don't Know the Answer - I can Probably find out fairly easily ;-)
Once people move to EDGEHILL Village they find it hard to move out again as you are only 10 minutes away from most things in Town, most other things at the end of the road of which one of the Most Popular (apart from the Cafe's) is the RED Arrow - a Unique Inner city mountain Walking track PLUS you live in the nicest oldest established Tropical Suburb in Cairns
I'm only 10 minutes from our International Airport and I must admit I have always picked up and dropped off Friends and Family staying - so odds are on (if/as Time allows) - else a taxi is $ 12/14 (for a rental car also ask first to avoid Airport pick up FEES are High)
Whilst I can store a car up the driveway off the street for several days its Not covered and the two Covered Carparks are allocated Sorry - which means for day to day running arround - there is plenty of easy access directly outside street parking
Edgehill Village - "where the locals meet" - is serviced by TWO bus routes 130 & 131 every 30 min approx - & 19 Minutes to Town by Bus
Other Things to Note
I share my House - LOTS - and I am used to Sharing
with my business as I work from home with two dedicated Office Spaces and my Administration lady (downstairs out front)
My 13yr Old Jack Russell X Dog "SPOT" - who is well socialised and well behaved and loves everyone as does "ISHTA" the Cat - when she feels like it (after all - she is a cat ) Burmese X - can be Overtly Exteremly friendly when she's in the mood
OH and most of the Time there is also a (1x) Flatmate Roommate Sharemate (depending on where your from ?) else you will see that room appear on the Listing as well ;-)
