Fully furnished 600± sq.ft. 1BR apartment in a duplex …
Great apartment. Wonderfully appointed with every convenience. Perfect for a couple or single. Two things about this apartment, VERY quiet for being in the heart of Burbank's retail district and close to all parts of LA. Owner was equally wonderful This was perfect for us! Highly recommend!!
We took a little break before all of the Wonderful Christmas festivities began and couldn't have picked a better place! It is a clean, cozy and charming rental. It truly is walking distance to Everything: a huge mall and a great little street with tons of yummie restaurants and cool shops. We felt safe walking back from dinners. I highly recommend this cute rental! Thank you!
My husband and I recently stayed at this apartment for 12 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was the perfect size for a couple wanting the convenience of having cooking and cleaning facilities whilst on holidays.
The apartment was clean and all amenities were in working order.
The apartment also comes with free Wi-Fi, which is super handy whilst you are on holiday and quite a rare feature to find these days.
The location of the apartment was by far the best feature. It is within walking distance to loads of restaurants, the major Burbank shopping centre, grocery stores and public transport. If you have a car, it is very close to the freeway entrance which will take you to Hollywood, San Diego and basically anywhere you want to go.
The owner of the apartment met us on arrival, showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. The owner is a lovely person who really makes you feel at home the second you meet her. The owner is also available at all times during your stay.
My husband and I highly recommend this apartment for your stay.
We loved staying at Tonja's apartment! It had everything we needed for our vacation stay....great location, comfortable beds, handy kitchen, & a beautifully decorated living room with a large flat screen television for movie watching. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to California to visit family!
I had the opportunity to stay at this apartment, with my dog, for 3 months this summer during my summer internship. This was a fantastic place to stay. Walking distance to almost everything, including multiple movie theatres, restaurants, shopping, and even a Saturday farmer's market, and an easy drive to several grocery stores. The furniture was very comfortable, the backyard larger than expected and well tended, the kitchen and bathroom have everything you could hope for, and everything was very clean. I've actually seen both apartments, and while they are very differently decorated, they are both lovely, and the pictures of neither do them justice.
Tonja was fantastic throughout my stay - welcoming, responsive, and very accommodating, and also great with my dog; finding this place meant I was able to bring my dog along without sacrificing any comfort or convenience. I highly recommend this place, and will stay here again should I have the chance.
My first inquiry into the property was promptly answered, and every question thereafter was as well. The rental amount was extremely reasonable, and all arrangements handled in an honest and professional manner. Before we arrived all of our concerns, including where to park and how to get into the apartment, were answered by email, since we knew we would be arriving in the dark.
I can't stress enough how homey and welcoming this apartment is. My daughter, son, and I arrived late at night, after a long flight and a scary drive in a rental car from LAX. When we walked into the apartment, everything was ready for our arrival, and all we had to do was drop our bags and relax. We stayed for ten days, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There were many little surprise touches that made us feel totally at home. Everything we needed was there; and the place was clean and beautifully furnished. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and quick to respond to any question.
We would definitely stay there again!
I needed an apartment for my parents during the last Christmas days and found this amazing property, located a 5 minute walk away from Downtown Burbank. I definitely think this is one of the best small apartments in the Valley. Besides, the owner is very respectful, helpful and kind. I will always take this place into consideration for my friends and relatives!
What a great place! Clean, comfortable, and really close to anything I needed. Tonya is a REALLY sweet gal. After she directed me to the closest grocery store (couple blocks away) and after getting food, there was nothing else I needed for my stay. I've stayed in hotels and another VRBO in Burbank, and although Burbank in general is awesome, this place was definitely in the best area to be. Like the rest of the reviews say, you can walk down a couple of blocks and find anything you want to do, eat, or shop. I think I counted 4 movie theaters with 32 screens within 2 blocks, so I can see why they call it the media center of the world. It's a great atmosphere with lots of people watching if that's your thing. Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Great apartment! Great location! Great landlord! GREAT EXPERIENCE! We will be staying her again ... for sure!
Great experience from start to finish. Wonderful owners - great communication. We loved the set up and the location. The apartment is great for travelers on the go; has all the necessities + off-street parking right outside your door + a nice little yard for morning coffee & a spot of sun. There were a couple of housekeeping & maintenance issues we brought to the owners' attention and they couldn't have been nicer or more responsive about it. We would recommend this to a couple or solo traveler who wants to have the enjoyment/freedom of apartment living; so much better than a hotel where you chance noisy guests at night, long walks from car, waiting for elevators, can't make your own meal or a morning smoothie, etc. You can even bring a pet! And the price just can't be beat. We were within walking distance of a great area in Burbank - restaurants, shops, Starbucks, grocery, etc. It is also well located for visiting any of the studios, 35 mins from the beach, and it worked out great for all the family visiting we did... from Santa Clarita to Sylmar to Pomona.
We would definitely stay here again - and have shared our great find with friends & family.
As a side note - we especially wanted to have a kitchen since we are new vegans - so it worked well for us. But we were also delighted to find 2 great vegan restaurants not too far away - Tony's Darts Away on Magnolia (a great beer bar with outstanding vegan bar food!) should not be missed and Lotus Vegan in North Hollywood (yummy Thai & more) is well worth a short drive. One night we got carry out and plopped down on the sofa at the apartment for late dinner & a movie... all the comforts of home.
I love VRBO. This was a last minute stay for me and my dog. The yard was especially convenient, and the place itself is very cozy and comfortable. I felt very at home (as did my dog). I agree the photos don't quite do the place justice. Tonja was excellent with communication and was continually very easy to reach.
The property is clean, well-maintained, nice and quiet, and the parking spot a few steps away is also helpful when loading and unloading. The location is convenient to movie studios, walking distance to the Media Center walking mall, and just off I5. While you could make many stops from here without a car, LA is definitely a car town. (And you definitely want the central air in the summer!) I definitely recommend the property.
When in LA, be sure to check out the skyline from Griffith Park Observatory.
This was the second time I have stayed at this property which I chose the first time because it was close to my son's house in Glendale, and I chose the second time because my first visit was so enjoyable and I knew I couldn't find a better area than where this apartment is located. I was even able to bring my little dog with me this time and he loved being able to wander in and out of the apartment at his leisure with the enclosed yard area. The apartment is outfitted very well with all the anenities one could need and is very clean and adorably decorated. The bed was more comfortable than my own. This is the perfect spot for a couple, a single person, or a mother and daughter. The area is ideal and I can see a small family using it as a home base to visit all of the sites of Hollywood. The hosts were also attentive if I needed anything. Not having a car was not a problem since everything I needed such as restaurants and shops is close by. Next time I hope to stay longer than a month! Thank you Tonya and Sam for sharing this beautiful spot with me and hopefully it will be available to me when I come visit next time.
My son and I stayed here for 11 days. The apartment was really nicely appointed and very comfortable. The location is excellent, minutes from everything! There are some great restaurants along the strip just a couple of blocks from the apartment. Our favorites were Granville and My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. We also enjoyed the shopping and the street shows during the evenings. Everything you need is nearby, grocery, drug store, yogurtland, coffee, diners, etc. Last but not least, Tonya was really a pleasure to deal with and kept us informed and let us know she was there for anything we needed or any questions we had. Totally recommend this place, and my son and I rent apts/condos pretty often, in the mountains, at Myrtle Beach, etc...and this was one of our favorites.
We had the best time at the apartment!! We found it beyond our expectations (pictures cannot be that reliable, but in this case, the pictures make apartment look smaller and less inviting than it really is). EVERYTHING is super clean, spacious and comfortable. Very well furnished. All linens and towels are provided, as well as toilet paper, paper tisues, kitchen appliances, wireless internet, cable tv, hairdryer, a wireless printer etc. All you need is to bring your luggage in and relax. We were there 2 weeks and recommended it to all our friends travelling to the US and we will probably be back to Los Angeles this year as well, so we hope we are able to stay there again. Tonya is very helpful and will reply all your questions within a minutes! If stay here, you won´t regret it!!
We couldn't recommend this apartment any higher. It's adorably decorated, comfortable, clean, stocked with whatever you would need, and in a perfect location to use as a base to do the "Hollywood" thing by being central to all the sites and parks. Loved being within walking distance to so much to do. Tonja is such a nice person and was always quick to respond to any questions we had about the area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, in fact, looking forward to it.

NOTE FOR SUMMER GUESTS - THERE IS A OLYMPIC SIZED PUBLIC POOL ABOUT A 4 MIN DRIVE AWAY
The pool is on Riverside and Los Feliz Blvd. in the park across the street from the fountain (not Griffith Park, which is on the other corner). It's really close.
From the house, you'd take Hyperion Ave east (toward Trader Joe's) and make a left (north) to Los Feliz Blvd. Make a right on Los Feliz and drive to Riverside Dr. Make a right on Riverside Dr. and then a left into the parking lot of the park - you should see tennis courts. Walk all the way to the end towards Los Feliz Blvd (or just ask where the pool is).
It's $2.50/$3.00 for the day.

PLEASE NOTE - we really want your stay to be a great one. This is a lively neighborhood, so it won't be quiet like the suburbs. If you need silence in order to sleep, this little cottage would not be a good fit for you. But if relative urban liveliness/atmosphere is okay with you, then you'll be fine.
Full stove with oven
Small Refrigerator with a freezer big enough to hold a turkey
and if you're not into cooking...
Los Feliz/Silver Lake is a great neighborhood - there are wonderful movie theaters, restaurants and boutiques all walking distance. FOOD: Thai, Italian, Brazilian, Vietnamese, Armenian, Chinese, Japanese - all walking distance and most open late or 24 hours. Not to mention great pizza, burgers and bars!
Great public transportation in this area; you wouldn't need a car if you worked in Hollywood or Downtown LA. Close to Griffith Park, Hollywood, Disney Hall, Dodger Stadium and centrally located within Los Angeles.
This is a lively neighborhood so don't expect total peace and quiet but the neighbors are respectful. There is a preschool across the street so during the day you may hear the sound of children playing occasionally.
Getting here from the LAX Airport:
There is a bus called the flyway that can take you to Union Station for 7 dollarsUS (don't worry - you won't need money - when you get to Union Station you can pay by credit card) then you can take the Metro Red Line for $1.50 each or take a taxi for about $15 (a taxi from the airport would cost about $55-66US).
You would go back to the airport the same way - though there is a bus that can take you to the Red Line.
There is a Disney Land bus in Downtown LA on 7th and Metro that you can take for less than $3 each way and Disney Hall (the big, shapely, silvery building) is also downtown on 1st Street and Hope - not too far away. You can get there by bus and a short walk in 30min. Since parking downtown can range from $5-$25 and walking from a parking structure takes a lot of time, public transportation is better and sometimes faster to Downtown LA and Hollywood, in my opinion.
There is also the DASH - the downtown area bus that costs 50 cents and goes all around downtown LA - from Chinatown to USC. There's lots to do there. And it's not too far from the house.
