This apartment is a sweet, small space at the back of the house, limiting the street noise activity. The house is an old 1910 frame building, with layers of history, normal wear and some recent updates. It is a family-friendly building, owner-occu …
Only good things to say about Frid and her apartment!
Frid answered very quickly to all my mails (1 hour maximum). She lives the apartment downstairs, which is practise in case of need.
She is flexible, friendly and excellent hosts who cares about her guest, she tell us good spots, events.. Thanks to her we tasted perfect pizza just in the corner and last but not least example, we saw Obama in official visit in Brooklyn!!! We also enjoyed the delicious bread that she left for us, in addition to essential foods to start our sojourn.. Really greats attentions!
The apartment has all the comfort expected. It was better than on the pictures..
Clean, spacious, really quiet (no noise in the building and outside, which is really surprising in bk), good bedding.. we spend great time in this place!
Almost, it's in a good and safe area, not so far from Manhattan and easiest to enjoy of all the "beauty" of Brooklyn!
I would recommend without hesitation Frid's apartment and definitely keep this contact for another stay in New York!
Frid's apartment was wonderful. Spacious, flexible and a complete home away from home. Frid herself was so helpful and a completely down to earth host. She's accommodating, friendly and is in a great location near subways and Prospect Park.
It was two of us at Frid's place and though it's a one bedroom the sofa converts to a comfortable bed. The kitchen is complete and there was even coffee and some essentials in the fridge when we arrived which was very helpful and a nice touch.
Would definitely recommend Frid as a host and stay again at her place in the future.
Let me start by saying prior to staying at Frid's Apartment I have never done AirBnB. From this point on when I travel I will forever do AirBnB as my first choice for the simple fact that Frid's place was so awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. I was very hesitant to stay at Frid's when I saw she didnt have any reviews yet but I am so glad we did. The place was clean and practically brand new everything. She even let my partner barrow her hair dryer. The apartment is approx 10 min walk to the train that takes you over the bridge and the bus is just a few seconds walk from the front door. There were restaurants and shops within a couple minutes walk from the apartment which was pretty awesome after stuffing our faces at a near by pizza joint then waddling back. All in all I had a great time and when I head back to New York I will definitely stay with Frid if she would have me.
My husband and I spent 3 nights in this apartment in Brooklyn and had a fantastic time. The place is small but perfectly formed. It had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and quiet. Frid was flexible with our arrival time and welcomed us in person to give us the keys and to show us around.
We loved our time in New York and we would definitely stay here again!
