Our Host David was very attentive to our stay and went to considerable lengths to be sure we were happy. Thank you David for your courtesy and prompt reply to our messages. The apartment is decently appointed but not lavish; if you are creative you can prepare meals as desired without going out to restaurants. A not-inexpensive grocery store is about a 12-minute walk. It is about the same distance to the "T" subway system, a shorter walk to buses. Take advantage of the public transportation, it is quite good and will get you close to wherever you would like to go. I believe the apartment is listed as a third-story, but be advised you have to climb three sets of fairly steep and narrow spiral stairs (besides the short entrance steps) to get access to the apartment. By the looks of surrounding buildings this is not uncommon. The water pressure is good and the neighborhood quiet and pleasant. Several nice parks nearby. The apartment itself is quiet, we never heard any noise from occupants below except for normal coming and going out of doors once or twice a day. The WiFi and internet service was good, and we had no problem staying connected via either. We had no occasion to use the heating, as the weather was splendid during our stay and was never out of the 57-65 degree range outdoors. Be advised many of the residential brick sidewalks are very uneven, and the one-way streets are often preferable for walking. Be sure not to miss the Museum of Fine Arts, they have splendid exhibits and do not prohibit photographs as long as you don't use your flash. They allow a complimentary second visit with a paid entrance (within 10 days), and you won't be able to see everything in one day. The Museum of Science and Industry is not wildly modern, but very engaging and I recommend it. Be sure to eat Italian in North Boston at least once, and if you only visit once go to Benevento's. Not too expensive, and the food is fabulous. I recommend this rental and we enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is roomy, comfortable, and perfectly located in the best area of Boston. The decoration is modern and stylish, and the street is absolutely enchanting. Transportation is easy to other parts of town and Cambridge. Excellent restaurants and other amenities are within walking distance. To be recommended in every way.
We stayed in this apartment for a month with our 17 month old daughter. The apartment was well equipped with a pleasant atmosphere and the owner was helpful in every way he could. The location of the place is one of the best in Boston - a very nice neighborhood. We were very satisfied with everything and would highly recommend it to others.
My wife and I stayed at this apartment for a week while attending a conference in Boston. The accommodation was clean, everything worked and was as described in the listing. We would recommend this property to a friend or relative as an alternative to traditional hotel rooms. Likes: Very nice area to walk. Old brick buildings, parks and quaint, narrow, tree lined streets. Good restaurants withing 5 minutes walk. The Thai restaurant is highly recommended. Easy access by transit from Airport, Cambridge and other areas. 30 minute walk to downtown Boston. Quiet location. 5 minute walk to Wally's Jazz Club. Good live music in an unlikely looking spot. Other comments: Owner was generally responsive and helpful. Apartment is on the third floor and requires climbing a relatively steep and narrow flight of stairs. This was not an issue for us. It is an apartment, not a hotel room. You make your own bed and do your own dishes. We would stay at this property again.

As I walk in the building in Concord St. it feels warm. The apartment, three flights up, is magnificent. Much better than a hotel room, by far. The furniture is neat, the flat TV is bigger than I would expect, there’s a Blu-ray DVD player. The kitchen is just the perfect size for a single guest, perhaps a couple. Down the hallway is the bathroom. Wow, white and green and perfectly clean as everything else is. The green towels with small little brown squares on one end look modern yet warm. At the end of the hallway is the room, again modern with square accents that make you feel the sharpness of its cleanness and the perfect order its owner reflects on each detail in this place; everything in its right place, perfectly centered; all pictures and art objects exposing a perfect angle. The bus is just a block away and the T station a few more up the road. Restaurants and convenience stores right around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend this apartment rental.....beautifully maintained and decorated ....lots of nice art and modern fittings. Very well located with public transport close at hand, restaurants and coffee shops 5 minute walk away. Downtown Boston and museums/art galleries in walking distance (30 mins).....and just a bus ride over to Cambridge/Harvard. Would not recommend to someone with problem with stairs....on top floor, and stairwell got a little narrow at top....so don't take too large a suitcase!
