Cambridge is known internationally for its prestigious universities, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Ivy League-Harvard University is the oldest institution of higher learning in the nation and influences the intellectual and artistic culture apparent in the streets of Cambridge. It is an intellectual hub brimming with coffee-scented cafés, antique bookstores, multi-cultural restaurants, lively pubs, artistic festivals, and chic boutiques. Famous for its eclectic mix of small shops, the world’s largest concentration of bookstores, avant-garde street performers, and seasoned jazz musicians, Harvard Square is an artistic core of activity for local students, residents, and visitors.

Our apartment is conveniently located only two blocks from the MIT and Kendall Square T stop. Boston is only ten minutes east of Cambridge and can be accessed by one of several bridges that cross the Charles River. The Longfellow Bridge, that carries Route 3 and MBTA trains, directly connects Cambridge’s Kendall Square with Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Made famous for their tagline “If you lived here you’d be home by now” The Towers (formerly called Longfellow Place) have been a part of the Boston Skyline for decades. Don’t be fooled by their age though, after an extensive multi-million dollar renovation completed last year, these towers are top of the line. The entry circle allows easy access for you to unload groceries or run up to your apartment, and the lobbies that greet you are world-class. This building also boasts some of the largest floorplans you’ll find in Boston, with huge open rooms you won’t feel like you’re living in Boston. Another major bonus are the large balconies, uncommon at most downtown buildings, you’ll have breathtaking views and just an easy way to escape for some fresh air. There is also a fitness center, and a resort-style renovated outdoor pool. The ground floor of the building has a convenience store, salon, restaurant, and Viva Burrito - a well known and extremely popular lunch spot. This is a four star community.
