One block from UC Berkeley! Gourmet ghetto and more
Neat and sunny furnished one-bedroom apartment with full kitchen, separate dining and living room, 32' flat screen TV, satellite service, local telephone service, wireless Internet, laundry and courtyard. Fully furnished with housewares, utensil …
I stayed in apartment 1701 for a month while working at the university and waiting for my long-term rental apartment to be available. It is a lovely place furnished with everything you could need to feel at home. Just one block from the university, and with a bus to Tilden park stopping right outside the door, the location is perfect. Ada was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is the shower, which gave a rather pathetic dribble of water, despite multiple spray settings.
I've recommended this place to all my friends who might visit Berkeley. It was very clean, spacious, had all the facilities (kitchen, bedroom, living room) that one might need. Ada (landlady, who was lovely and accommodating) even had a high chair for our toddler! The only negative thing was the creaky wooden flooring and also that you could hear the upstairs tenets walking around - but that's the nature of apartment living (even the case in hotels). All in all, It was more comfortable than a hotel! We would definitely stay here again when we're in town.
The apartment was clean and well-maintained. It was well-equipped with household appliances and an entertainment system. Everything matched the description and the pictures. The owner provided good customer service. We had very nice and helpful contact and good communication with her.
The location is good, too; it is close to the BART Station, and there are various stores and plenty of restaurants in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative.
"Thank you, Ada. We loved being here again.!
"Convenient and friendly place"

I have rented an apartment on the first floor, 1701, and find its perfect for a middle time renting; there is enough space for a couple, the bedroom is quiet, the kitchen is well equipped, and is conveniently located.

A perfect home base from which to enjoy Berkeley"
This was the most wonderful place to live during my four month sabbatical at UC Berkeley. The apartment is very comfortable and felt just like home. All facilities just perfect and a very thoughtful owner to assist if anything is amiss.

This property is superbly situated in the heart of North Berkeley with access to top restaurants and the campus.
