The water feature placement ensures it can be seen from the kitchen and heard through the open window to wonderful effect. The single-light back door opens to a private, all-season, covered cedar porch for magnificent sunset views over the Puget Sound and snow-capped Olympic peaks. The sea air here is remarkable. And beyond the porch lays a gated courtyard for BBQ’s and other private-use enjoyment. Past the gate is a fire bowl for campfire-style entertainment during summer-season…toasted marshmallows, anyone?
There’s no shortage of free, convenient street parking. The corner bus provides a 10-minute ride to Downtown, leaving every 20 minutes. Alki Beach and Fauntleroy Ferry are both 7-minute rides. Our location is only blocks to the California Junction and Farmer’s Market. With a walk to Morgan Street Junction shopping, drug store, convenience store, library, golf course, parks and church.

<span>Come to Seattle and stay in a secret garden hideaway in one of the top neighborhoods, Mount Baker. It is 10 minutes to downtown and the ball parks and is one block away from the bus (#14) that takes you directly to downtown and pretty close to the ballparks (walking distance.) If you are coming here for work, you can get around pretty easily and there is street parking if you are renting a car.</span>
<p><span>This unique unit is in the back of the house with it's own private door, large bathroom with a tub, bedroom with a king size bed, and other amenities to make your stay comfortable. There is a living room wa treewith a lazy boy, sumptuous red leather chair with ottoman and a sofa to watch TV or read. This unit only sleeps two people as the sofa is Victorian and small. There is a DVD player with lots of movies and an HDMI cable if you want to stream netflix. <br /><br /></span></p>

<p><span>This unit is very quiet and is the back of the house at the garden level. You access it by the side entry way and have your own door with plenty of privacy. It's a pretty unit with access to the backyard with patio furniture, a BBQ grill and fresh vegetables if it's the right time of year. It's a relatively quiet neighborhood with nice homes up and down the street. It's just two blocks from Lake Washington where you can run, ride your bike or just take a scenic walk on the path.</span></p>
<p><span>The house is in walking distance to some great neighborhood restaurants like That's Amore, La Bonne Franquette, and Respast, a patisserie with the best croissants Seattle has to offer. The nearby store is QFC and there are some restaurants around like Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, French, BBQ and so forth. The street we are on is residential, but you have just a short 5 minute walk to some cute restaurants. In the unit there is a fridge, microwave, panini grill, toaster oven and a coffee maker. We give you dishes and things like that so it's pretty easy.</span></p>
<p><span>The house is just three blocks from Lake Washington. You can walk around the lake on a path that is quite lovely.</span></p>
<p><span>The bedroom is quiet with double doors that open to the garden. It has a king size bed with a down comforter. The bathroom has a full shower and tub with a sink and toilet all private. There is a living room with a sofa, lazy boy chair, cable TV with HBO and over 600 channels with free movies and a DVR if you want to record your favorite shows. All linens and towels are provided along with other amenties, such as French shower gels and soap, travel size shampoo and a few other things.</span></p>
<p><span>If you are into beer, we just created a craft beer tour where we take you around to different small breweries in Seattle. Ken is the one that handles that and the fee is nominal and well worth it! We just took a couple from Germany on it and they said there is "nothing like it anywhere" and they had big smiles on their faces!</span></p>
<p><span>You will enjoy your stay here, if this is your chosen spot. We are super easy-going and the place is really clean and comfortable.</span></p>
St. John's is on Capitol Hill in Seattle, in a nice area and very convenient to downtown, the Washington State Convention Center, and all the local attractions. The building has 25 apartments in all, with four furnished short-term rentals, 20 long-term rentals and one apartment for our on-site manager.
This apartment, #300, is a very comfortable one bedroom. It has a king bed in the bedroom, a living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, a full bath with soaking tub, and a large kitchen. We include bath towels and linens; the kitchen has all the cooking essentials you'll need, a full size gas range, microwave and full sized refrigerator. There's a grocery store directly across the street, so you could eat in the apartment for every meal. However, we're surrounded with many of Seattle's finest restaurants, so you'll want to go out!
We have a website, which is linked below through the Owner's Profile page. To get to it you have to click on the link that says "see full owner's profile". There are more pictures on our site of the apartment, the building and the area. That site also has an automated reservation system. You can put in your dates and any of our apartments that are available will show up, with pricing. If you want you can make the reservation at that time. We require a deposit of $150. with the balance paid on arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.
We have an on-site manager that will check you in and give any help you might need. He takes care of arrivals, even when they are late at night. He's also our concierge--he's a restaurant critic at heart and will be very happy to give advice about great places in the area.
