The bedroom is ok for 3. best for 2.
the neighborhood is central but fortunately there's no much tourists.
its the most charming and residential "barrio" of barcelona.
lots of bars, cinema, day and nightlife.
you know, its the opposite of staying in a noisy and overcrownded area.
ask your friends that stood near las ramblas, and you know what i'm talking.
this is a very catalan kind of area. there's a lot of squares where
the famous tapa restaurants lay their tables at the open air.
real people that actually live in barcelona come to gràcia
to have some drinks with friends and also have some ethnical dinner,
because there's a bunch of restaurants from all over the world.
for instance, there is an ethiopian and a brazilian in my own street; greek, tibetan, thai, portuguese, catalan of course, japanese, you name it.
well, i can help you with that. after all we can agree that
sometimes a local's advice is better than a cold guidebook.
i wish you enjoy your stay and i can be useful in this amazing town.

A big and sunlit double bedroom with an ample work space in a cozy flat in the neighbourhood of Gracia, a stone's throw from Park Güell and a short walk from the bustling plazas that make this neighbourhood a favourite for locals. Creative people welcome!

My flat is located right on the edge of Gracia, a beautiful and bohemian neighbourhood full of plazas, cafes, bars and cute little shops that make it a favourite for locals. It is also less than a ten-minute walk from Park Güell (you can actually see it from the balcony!) and close enough to the heart of Gracia for you to enjoy it by day or night, but far enough to get a good night's sleep if the streets get rowdy (particularly during Fiestas de Gracia, our annual street festivities)!
The flat is on the third floor (actually the fifth if you count the ground floor and the "entresuelo") which means it has plenty of light all day long. It has three bedrooms (two doubles available to my guests, so if you're a family or a group of 4 you can have both), a lovely living room where you can relax and watch TV, listen to music, or grab any of the books from the library; a dining table that seats 3-4 people, as well as a really nice balcony where you can enjoy the sun, the views and the fresh air while you sit on the rocking chair or have your breakfast or evening drinks.
The kitchen is not huge but it is fully prepared for you to cook any of your meals, with a microwave, access to the fridge and obviously all the pots, pans and utensils I've acquired during the years!
I live on my own and I've made this house my home, so it's full of little details and things that I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Your bedroom will have fresh sheets and towels when you arrive, and you will have access to all the things you need while you're abroad: a hot shower, a fully-equipped kitchen, a place to relax, wi-fi all over (and various chargers if you were to need any), good music, good reads and a good host to give you any info you might need to make the best out of your stay in Barcelona!

I am an extrovert, chatty person and love to socialize so I will be here if you were to need any information, guidance or insider tips as to things to do and places to visit in Barcelona, but I also respect people's privacy and get on with my day to day activities and let other people get on with theirs as if my guests were my permanent flatmates.
I love music, arts, design, literature and don't mind a bit of pop culture, so I always appreciate a good conversation!

I've been living in Gracia for the past six years and it is one of the loveliest and most authentic neighbourhoods in Barcelona. It is known for its plazas and the life that goes around them, with cafes, bars, restaurants, arthouse cinemas and cute little shops all fighting for your attention, making it feel like you're in a village within the city.
At the end of August we celebrate the Fiestas de Gracia, a neighbourhood-wide party where the streets are decorated and compete among themselves to be the most colourful, creative and beautiful of them all. The streets fill with people from all over town who come to see this and enjoy the activities that take place during that week. It's like a party everyday!

The flat is located at the top of Calle Escorial, a five-minute walk from Joanic metro station on the yellow line, which will take you directly to the beach and into town in less than 15 minutes.
You can also walk to Fontana, on the green line, which is about a 10-15 minute walk and will take you to Plaza Catalunya and Liceu if you want to go to Ramblas, La Boquería, Raval or Gótic.
By night, you can take the N6 bus from Plaza Catalunya and get off straight at the door.
If you want to visit Park Güell you're in luck, since it'll only be about 10 minutes by foot or by bus, which happens to drive right past our doorstep.
