    Ariero

    Description

Nice couple room in a quite family apartment in centre of town, near Marques do Pombal, with 2 single beds (they can be separated or together) and a living area, for a third person, to have a meal or work on the computer. There is space for a child or a person up to 1,75, on the sofa/bed.
The apartment is in the centre of Lisbon, 15 minutes walking from Rossio and 20 min from Chiado or Alfama, really near to the best places to visit. SAFE ZONE day and night, good level neighbourhood, in a typical old renewed building, decorated with simple lines and soft colours, and full of good energy!
Nice ambient, specially for Women :-)
    Supermarket, metro and bus nearby.
Taxis always passing by. But the best is being able to walk almost everywhere, any time!
Here, in Lisbon, we have a lot of shopping places that are open till late at night, and we have the habit to dinner late and have a drink after. We have a lot of night life, from cultural to music … and because of the good weather, a lot of outside events!
Breakfast is not included, but towels yes.
Kitchen can be used for cooking meals and laundry.
    Wireless internet free.
    No smoking.
For long stays, we can always adapt to each one needs!
We love positive and friendly people!
Noisy and messy people are not welcome.
Privacy is much valued and respected.
    Gay friendly.
Good for lonely women travellers. We will give you friendly support!
If you are looking for a QUIT, RESPECTFUL, CENTRAL and SAFE place to stay and visit the beautiful Lisbon, so this will be a nice place for you!
    WE WELCOME YOU!

Room with a view of the River Tagus in Alfama
The house, where the room is located, is situated in the most traditional quarter of Lisbon, Alfama. The building was constructed just after the earthquake of Lisbon in 1755. The room has a magnificent view over the Tagus river.

      ALFAMA:
The oldest district of Lisbon, it spreads down the southern slope from the Castle of São Jorge to the Tagus river. Its name, derived from the Arabic Al-hamma, means fountains or baths. During the Islamic invasion of Iberia, the Alfama constituted the largest part of the city, extending west to the Baixa neighbourhood. Increasingly, the Alfama became inhabited by fishermen and the poor: its fame as a poor neighbourhood continues to this day. While the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake caused considerable damage throughout the capital, the Alfama survived with little damage, due to its compact labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares. It is a historical quarter of mixed-used buildings of homes with small shops, Fado bars and restaurants.

      It's strategic location comes along with additional advantages;
      - At two minute walk from the 'Santa Apolonia' metro station.
      - Alfama is the oldest Quarter of the city with a good variety
of restaurants and cafes, and the best fado houses available.
      - The house is conviniently located near by the Feira da Ladra (outdoor Flea market).
      - Close to: National Panteão, Monastery of São Vicente,
      Fado Museum and Military Museum.
      - Lux Nightclub.

      We welcome you!
