Lovely little apartment, with everything you could need. Well-located, within easy reach of all attractions.
We stayed at the apartment over a very wet/windy new year and it proved to be a great escape from both the weather and the crowds when we needed it. We opted to walk to the apartment, which was very simple, reaching it within about 20mins after a few wrong turns (my fault not the provided directions -15mins on the return leg). Upon arrival we were met, given keys and a thorough walk-through the apartment and it's amenities. It had everything and more (welcome champagne and chocolate was a lovely surprise and perfect for NYE), was comfortable and very spacious.
The rental process and return of deposit was quick and simple, the provided information (directions, places to see etc) was comprehensive and lastly, the location was great -near enough to the RLD area (primarily nieuwmarkt), but enough streets away for a peaceful time.
We would certainly return and would love to experience the place in the summer. Do not hesitate to book this apartment.
We have rented apartments in many European cities. This was our easiest and most enjoyable experience. We value cleanliness, comfort and a well equipped kitchen, and this one was outstanding in each regard. Specifically, a good bed and shower with plenty of hot water are essential. It is surprising how many European apartments lack these and skimp on providing kitchen equipment and a few eating essentials so you don't have to buy salt, pepper. sugar and cooking oil. These and much more were provided, as well as stove top espresso maker (we always bring our own in case) and french press.
Location is important. Many guide books for Amsterdam dismiss the metro as of no use to most tourists. We found that not to be the case. There is basically one metro track in Amsterdam serving the suburbs and three routes share it from the Central station to the first several stops (meaning you can take any train - and they come frequently). While it is true the metro will not get you to most tourist destinations, it intersects with various tram lines that generally put you one transfer from where you want to go. The Music Theater is a five minute walk away and as we attended both the opera and the ballet, this is a great plus if those are of interest to you.
Those operating the apartment, particularly Peter, are extremely helpful and conscientious. They provide nice touches that enhance the experience, such as a welcome bottle of wine and in our case a miniature Christmas tree (things most lessors would not bother with). They (again, Peter) seem genuinely concerned that you enjoy your time in Amsterdam.
Our stay in Amsterdam was wonderful! The appartment was a very important part of the pleasure. The central position quite near to public transport, like railway station, underground, trams, makes it easy in all circumstances to go to whatever place you want to see and visit in lovely Amsterdam! But the favourable location also makes it possible to reach museums, theatres, concert halls, restaurants. etc, etc. on foot, which was for us a unique way of getting to know the town in all its beauty and atmospheres. The appartment itself, so close to all facilities like shops and markets, is located on a very quiet spot, with no noise of traffic or bustle of any other kind whatsoever. It is a place that makes you feel welcome, warm and cosy. For us, being Dutch, it was a great opportunity to get to know our own capital city better and love it even more than we already did!
This apartment is small but comfortable with all
the "mod cons" - everything required in the kitchen, lots of linens and towels.
BIG television with English-language channels. Great view over canal. Walking
distance to grocery store, wine store, cafes, the harbour and Central Station,
Waterlooplein and some of the museums. I would stay again in an "Amsterdam
minute" - and I hope I will.
A very spacious and comfortable apartment, very easy to live in.
Excellent location within easy walking distance to all old city locations and maritime museum, as well as a supermarket.
Spotlessly clean with all necessary kitchen utensils. The personal welcome , including the wine, flowers, etc. , made our stay very memorable.
My partner and I have been to the city a few times before and always stayed in hotels, but this time we decided to look for an apartment for my birthday and we found the perfect place to stay with this one.
The apartment is in a fantastic location that is accessible to all areas of the city whether you walk, go by boat, catch a bus or use the metro. There are some great places to eat locally (Woo Bros and Restaurant Greetje are a must!) as well as supermarkets, cafés, bars and boutiques all around the corner. It is in a nice quiet street with friendly local people. It also has nice fresh décor throughout, fluffy towels and all the utilities and amenities you can ask for (including an extra umbrella now as we couldn't take it back!).
Peter (the Key Manager: who is very helpful and accommodating) shows you how to use everything and settles you in. There are clear and concise instructions all around the apartment in case you forget. We had a lovely complimentary bottle of wine / water / milk and nibbles when we arrived which was very welcomed after an early journey in.
My Mother came to stay for my Birthday night and had a wonderful time. She especially loved the pull out sofa and would like to know where it is from?
Overall, from the booking process to leaving the apartment – it was very well organised and effortless. If you want to experience Amsterdam in a comfortable, clean and unique base - then this is the place to explore from.
Our short stay was very pleasant. We found the property light and airy, well equipped and tasteful. It is in an interesting old converted warehouse with a delightful view over a canal. We were easily able to walk to all of the main attractions - eg only 15 mins walk from Central Station. The owners were extremely helpful and courteous with flowers and chocolates awaiting us on arrival and basic necessities all there. Overall, it was not just somewhere to stay but a really nice experience in itself.
From start to finish the service provided could not have been of a higher standard, culminating in a stay at a fabulous apartment in a quiet area, yet not to far from the main locations. We could not have been more delighted, supermarket just around the corner, bike rental extremely close too. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, and it was wonderful arriving to flowers, chocolate, wine etc. Marco and Peter the site manager ensure that the whole experience is a great one from start to finish. Thank you for allowing us to check out late, that was a bonus too. I can not find any fault and would highly recommend the apartment to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed. We had a wonderful week in Amsterdam staying in a wonderful location.
Welcomed warmly by Peter who kindly showed us where everything could be found concerning the TV and digital receiver, dishwasher, shower, washing machine, tumble dryer and central heating controls. Also a surprise welcome gesture in the form of beautiful fresh cut flowers, chocolates and wine. A nice extra touch and brought an instant smile. We found this a very pretty, quiet apartment with modern décor, seasonal flowering plants to the windows and balcony overlooking a canal setting, outside patio with picnic seating where we enjoyed seeing occasional boats cruise by. We were impressed by all the facilities provided such as hairdryer, bathroom necessities, plenty of clean towels and bedding and excellent storage for all our clothes and suitcases. Large pull-out sofa bed in lounge. I loved the cheerful wall art too. This quiet place is just a short walk away from pleasant pavement cafés/restaurants via either of the two particularly-lovely canal bridges. Also handy is a large supermarket offering fresh fruit, veg, salads and all the provisions we needed to prepare breakfasts/occasional meals 'in'. There are some fabulous walks to be enjoyed in all directions. A good starting point for discovering Amsterdam, we had such a lovely time there and would recommend this pleasant apartment to both our families and friends very easily. We've just recently returned from Amsterdam and had a wonderful time.
Normally we tend to stay in hotels, but on this occasion we chose to stay in an apartment.
We made an excellent choice with this property and were delighted with everything from the moment we arrived until the time we left.
Marcos & Peter were a pleasure to deal with and made everything so straightforward.
The location of the apartment is ideal. Situated in a quiet area, but only 10 minute’s walk in various directions to many of the attractions.
We'll make this our first choice for accommodation when we return to Amsterdam and we thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who intends visiting the city.

Flat is in a secure and quiet residential area but only 5 mins walk to centre. It has everything you need for a short (or long) break and decor/ fittings of a good standard. Meet and greet on arrival very helpful, friendly and efficient. Lots of useful info supplied in advance by email. Hope to return to Amsterdam and this will be our first choice for accommodation. Thanks Marcos for the gift of flowers, wine and chocolate on arrival, a very thoughtful touch.
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.
Perfect location, really quiet but yet central
Everything you could possibly need was provided.
Perfect location, in the center but quiet. Perfectly equiped appartment, both the owner and key holder are most friendly and most helpful. The best place to stay in Amsterdam!
We had a really good stay in this apartment at the weekend. The apartment and location are ideal for a couple. There are local shops and cafes, offering everything needed for a self catering break. We appreciated the owner's thorough communication - ensuring a stress free visit. The flexibility around arrival and departure times was appreciated. We will recommend the apartment to friends and family. Many thanks.
Myself and my partner were in Amsterdam for four days on a sort of second honeymoon - and this apartment was an absolute find! We were met by Peter, the apartment manager and what a nice man - he made us feel so welcome - even carrying our bags up to the apartment, nothing was too much of a trouble for him, including texting me after he'd left to let us know there was a late night supermarket just down the street (very welcome after travelling most of the afternoon to get there). And the apartment couldn't be more central. The supermarket is literally a five minute walk from your door and sells everything you need to set yourself up for a few days. We didn't need to use taxis, or even the trams - it's all on your doorstep which makes it so handy to keep popping back for something to eat or to change,or just to chill out for an hour or so before going back into the hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment is compact but has everything you could need - ideal for a couple but it would also work for a family as there's a massive sofa bed in the front room. It's very clean, minimalistic and quiet - and with views overlooking the canal it makes it just ideal. We had breakfast each day sitting on the little balcony - I totally wish I was there now!! We've holidayed in Amsterdam before but stayed at a hotel - which was lovely, but meant you felt compelled to go out at set times and for most of the day - whereas this gave us the flexibility to come and go and to cook for ourselves which made for a really inexpensive way to see the city. The apartment is extremely good value for money and we'll definitely be back!!! Oh I forgot to mention the welcome bottle of champagne and amazing chocolates - this apartment gives the personal touch that you just don't get elsewhere. We loved it - thank you for making our holiday so special. Claire & Lynsey (North Yorks, UK)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was perfect for exploring central Amsterdam and was 5 min. away from our daughter's dormitory (she is studying abroad in Amsterdam). Marcos provided us with lots of helpful tips and information prior to our arrival, including some great restaurant recommendations, and, upon our arrival, we were greeted by 2 dozen roses, wine and chocolates. The apartment was sunny and bright, with a great canal view. The bedroom had blackout shades and a very comfortable bed, affording us a great nights sleep. The living room was an easy space to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped and efficiently laid out. It was a pleasure to return to the apartment each evening. We hope to return again this year.
This is a lovely apartment to stay in: beautifully furnished, quiet and close to all the attractions of Amsterdam. We chose this appartment for its proximity to Central Station,as we wanted to make several day trips: it is a pleasant 15 minute walk to bus and rail connections, but also close to 2 metro stops if you are feeling lazy. Marcos the owner was always prompt and helpful in all our dealings with him, and I particularly enjoyed the wine, chocolates and flowers which we received on arrival. You could not do better than stay here if you want a home from home which is away from the hurly-burly of city life but handily situated for shops, restaurants and attractions.
