The living room features a large flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, dining table with designer barstools and comfortable sofa bed. The open plan designer kitchen is equipped with two pit stove, microwave-oven and dishwasher. The cosy bedroom comes with two comfortable single beds. The attractive bathroom consists of a shower and bath.
The custom made double sofa bed in the living room makes the apartment suitable for four persons. Simply fold out the sofa bed and slide over the curtain to transform the living into a two person bedroom.
Smoking is strictly prohibited and will trigger the fire alarm. A false alarm will be fined.

<span> Located in the absolute City Centre of Amsterdam, at one of the main canals, Prinsengracht, around the corner from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Goghmuseum, shopping area Leidse Straat and nightlife area Leidse Plein, stands this impressive monument (build around 1850 and renovated in 2009) in which the owner lives himself and rents out this spacious guestroom, with a private bathroom and a mezanine where the bed is at.<br /></span><br />

<div class="middle"><span>The Roof Terrace Room is situated on the top floor in an ancient canalhouse which was completely renovated in 2008/2009 and has a beautifull view. From the Roofterrace-room one looks at the towers of the Rijksmuseum with it's impressive collection of dutch painters. The room is equipped with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and could host up to three people; on the landing there's place for two in the double bed (160:200 cm which could be turned into 2 single beds) and one in the fold-out-bed. Perfect for a small family or a small group of friends !</span></div>
<br /><span>If you would decide to have breakfast in the room or on the roof terrace under the parasol, there is a backery less than a minute walking from the guesthouse. And the room has a fridge, toaster and coffee and tea facilities. But being in the centre of town, having breakfast around the corner would be just as easy !</span><br /><br /><span>Prinsengracht 490 is located in the old centre of Amsterdam and has quite some history; Anne Frank was in hiding in the Achterhuis during the Second World War at Prinsengracht 265.</span><br /><br /><span>Other important landmarks in the neigbourhood are offcourse the Rijksmuseum, the Van Goghmuseum and the Museum of Modern Art, the Concert Hall en the City Theater; all within 8 walkin minutes from the guesthouse.</span><br /><br /><span>And for those who are addicted to shopping, two main shoppingstreets are just around the corner; the Leidse street for your regular clothes and gifts and the P.C. Hooftstreet for all your up scale clothing and luxory items. </span><br /><br /><span>After shopping, visiting the museum or just strolling the beautiful canals and charming alleys one can sit down for dinner and pick just any of the 50 restaurants at Leidse Plein area in the direct vicinity of the Prinsengracht.</span><br /><br /></div>
