    "I am leaving in a month for 9 months of traveling solo RTW. My family has concerns about my safety and wants frequent updates of my whereabouts. Not sure the best way to do this. How to easily post things like "i'm in guayaquil, Ecuador staying at the Manso Hostel", to a handful of people. Or "headed out trekking the Lares trail with so-and-so guide for 4 days". I'll have an iphone and iPad with me. emails? wanted to use Viber but not having much luck. Any ideas? I'm expecting to post weekly or so to Facebook."
