If you're ever in Colorado Springs, CO have a hearty breakfast at Sheldon's Lunchonette. Very unassuming b/c its on a strip mall, but the pancakes are massive & fluffy, the biscuits and gravy melt in your mouth, and the bacon is perfect! Not to mention the staff is very friendly.
My wife and I are doing a round the world trip in March. Honnolulu - Tokyo - Ho chi minh city - Bangkok - Chiang mai - Amsterdam - Madrid What is the groups "must eat at" spots? Is there anyone from this group that would want to meet for coffee or a drink at any of these cities?

If you're in south India and craving the taste of home, go to Modern Stores in Botanical Garden Road, Ooty.
They stock Nestle chocolate, Orangina, Confiture Bonne Maman, Hershey's, Kelloggs, Vegemite and Marmite (yes - disgusting, isn't it!), Pasta, Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Betty Crocker's, Camembert, Brie, Bacon, Olives, Gherkins, Marmalade, Oreos, Digestive Biscuits, Pick 'n' Mix, Heinz, Peanut Butter, Nutella... all at a price, but sometimes you just NEED a bit of H.P. Sauce or some Cheerios!
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but so is my stomach!
Indian food (particularly South Indian food) is wonderful, but there are times when it's gorgeous to dine on Western food. My repertoire has grown considerably in the last few years that I have been living alone in the jungle, but fortunately my stomach hasn't...

I recently traveled to Austin, Texas to attend my first SXSW Interactive and, as always when I travel, food was a big part of the trip. I wrote about 5 unique foodie experiences I had there and wanted to share: http://blog.tripping.com/46359196.
