FlipKey All guests who book via FlipKey are eligible for the Peace of Mind Policy which provides up to $10,000 in reimbursement. Guests can also purchase a Vacation Rental Protection Plan FlipKey hosts may require a refundable security deposit or offer damage protection insurance up to $5,000, payable at the time of booking
HomeAway When guests pay via HomeAway Payments, their payment is 100% guaranteed up to $10,000 against internet fraud. Guests can also purchase the following: Property Damage Protection up to $5,000, the Carefree Rental Guarantee up to $10,000 and Cancellation Protection up to $50,000 HomeAway hosts are guaranteed to receive at least one booking or be eligible for a full refund. Roomorama In the event of a host cancellation, Roomorama will issue a refund and try to find a replacement rental for the guest. Also, Roomorama monitors site activity via fraud detection software Roomorama hosts can charge guests a refundable security deposit (as a credit card authorization or cash) for each booking.
