Jen O'Neal
Jen O'Neal - Founder & CEO

Having grown up near Silicon Valley, working in technology always seemed like a given for Jen. She was one of the first employees at StubHub and held senior positions at startups in Europe and Central America before founding Tripping. Jen graduated Cum Laude from UC Berkeley and - when not working crazy hours - can be found cooking with friends, reading good books and backpacking to new places.

Girts Graudins
Girts Graudins - Engineering

Originally from Latvia, Girts has been coding as long as he can remember. He’s been an early employee at several startups and he’s passionate about building strong teams and finding elegant solutions to technical challenges. Girts graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a BA in Applied Mathematics in Economics and a Masters in IT / Software Engineering.

Jeffrey Manheimer
Jeffrey Manheimer - Business Development

Jeff has been our resident travel expert since the day we started Tripping. He has spent his entire career in travel, starting at the Hyatt in Cambridge and working his way up to positions in sales and distribution with Hyatt Hotels, Expedia and Travelzoo. Jeff graduated from Boston University and he is a huge fan of fishing, flying airplanes, road-tripping and collecting those little hotel toiletries.

Markus Geyer
Markus Geyer - Engineering

Markus was born in Germany though he has lived in California for most of his life. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. After graduating, he fell in love with the fast-paced startup world and migrated across the Bay to join our team. An expat at heart, Markus has traveled all around the globe and enjoys scuba diving, photography, and windsurfing.

Miriam Vaught
Miriam Vaught - Marketing

Born and raised in sunny San Diego, Miriam is a true California native. Having traveled to many countries at a young age, traveling has always been a priority. As a UC Berkeley Alumni, with a major in Film Studies, Miriam was able to combine her passions by taking a semester abroad to study film in Barbados. While there, she immersed herself in the culture and fell in love with the people and lifestyle. This sparked her love for travel, and led her to Tripping. Currently residing in the Bay Area, Miriam can be found running, cooking, or planning her next adventure.

Lexi Perman
Lexi Perman - Sales & Marketing

Lexi brings diverse travel, marketing, and sales experience to the Tripping team. She enjoys exploring other cultures and has lived abroad in the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, where she worked as a Social Entrepreneur Corps Intern. With an enduring passion for travel, Lexi is excited to connect with travellers and facilitate their Tripping arrangements at a global scale. Lexi graduated Cum Laude from Cornell University where she earned her degree in International Development and Inequality Studies.

Erik Blachford
Erik Blachford - Advisor

Erik was on the founding team of Expedia, which kick-started a career centered around travel and technology. He ultimately became Expedia’s President & CEO before running IAC Travel, where he oversaw online travel brands including Hotwire and Hotels.com. He’s since been an active investor and advisor to several startups and he’s now a Venture Partner at TCV. Erik graduated from Princeton University and received his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Fritz Demopoulos
Fritz Demopoulos - Advisor

Fritz is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Qunar, China’s leading travel metasearch site. Earlier in his career, Fritz founded Shawei, a sports internet company that was later acquired by Tom.com, and he’s been an advisor to prominent Chinese and international media companies. Fritz graduated with a BA from California State University-Fullterton and he also received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Dave Maney
Dave Maney - Advisor

Dave has spent his entire business career as an entrepreneur, operating executive and former journalist. He recently founded a new media company, Economaney, and he’s an active member of YPO's International Board of Directors. When not giving interviews or working on his new business, Dave can be found playing hockey and spending time with his wife, four daughters and one son in Colorado. Dave graduated from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Anthony Rodio
Anthony Rodio - Advisor

A Seattle and Silicon Valley veteran, Anthony has deep expertise with ecommerce and marketplace businesses. He is currently the CEO of Redbeacon (acquired by the Home Depot) and he was previously the VP of Product Management for travel company SideStep (acquired by Kayak). He has also held senior roles at Microsoft/MSN, Amazon, Support.com and Proctor & Gamble. Anthony graduated from the University of Oregon before getting a Masters at Portland State University and an MBA from Washington University.
